We never expected to spend so much for an in-sink dish rack. Our Kohler executive chef sink is 30 years old and the rack we bought with had a white coating that started to peel off and the metal rusted in various parts of the rack. That rack was discontinued and we luckily found this one on Amazon which is purported to fit our right sink and sink model number. It does fit nicely and seems sturdy. It is 2 inches lower in height compared to our old rack which came up to the side of the sink. It doesn't come with a dish caddy that we use to hold small items (utentils and a cup or 2) and we've not been able to find a Kohler replacement for it as well as the dish divider for the middle of the big rack. We decided to continue use the old caddy and dish divider which are rusting slightly. Amazon has the best price for this rack currently and I hope they do not raise the price.

This is so much nicer than the previous version. It updates my cast iron sink and is easy to clean. I don’t have to worry about hot water or pots melting the covering. It is expensive but much better quality!

This rinse basket is designed to fit the Kohler Executive Chef and Efficiency sinks. After years of searching for an exact replacement for my Marsala sink that wasn’t 300.00 or more I gave up and started trying other Kohler rinse baskets. Although this is short for my Marsala sink it does work very well and the rusty old Bisque colored basket went to the dump!Being too short leaves a space to the back and in that space I put the 7 3/4 inch Sanno Stainless Steel Cutlery Utensil Holder and it fits perfectly. I do wish the wire grid work was smaller/tighter on the sides as silverware sometimes slips through to other sections if not carefully placed. Not a deal breaker though.

This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. It is high quality and very purposeful. I can wash and drain my dishes as well as store rinsed dishes ready for dishwasher. This leaves my sink free of soiled dishes at all times.

This replaces a similar Kohler wire basket we had that was white (plastic wrapped wire). It had grown old and stained over time.The new wire basket is exactly the same size and shape.The Stainless looks nice and should stay that way without getting stained.One of the (4) rubber feet doesn't extend far enough to touch the bottom of the sink. The basket still seems stable, but with a heavy enough object above that foot, it does tilt a bit.Also, where the basket touches (rubs) the white sink, it does leave gray marks on the side of the sink. They can be scrubbed off, but it does take some effort. That did not happen with the old, plastic covered, white basket.We like the new Stainless basket, but it isn't perfect.

I purchased and have used this rinse basket since November 2015, almost 7 years now, and it still has no rust spots. Also, it was sold by "Warehouse Deals, Inc." condition: used-like new, so it may have been used longer than 7 years without rusting. My white vinyl coated basket lasted 22 years before I finally decided to replace it with this one as the white vinyl basket was no longer available. I also just purchased the sink rack on 9/12/2022 from MR Direct (for the left side) and hope it lasts without rusting as well.
