As lots of VW owners know, for some reason, lots of pads are made to less than ideal tolerances for the caliper carrier.This causes the brake pad to shift up and down when going from forward to reverse.I’m happy to report that these fit nice and snug on my 2019 MK7.5 Golf R. These will fit the GTI as well as long as you have the larger Performance Pack brakes.I haven’t had them on long, but I can say I’ve installed Powerstop pads on many friends and families cars with no issues.No noise and low dust. The initial bite is less than the semi metallic pads that come on the car. But honestly it just makes the pedal feel more linear instead of an ON/OFF switch.

The title sums it up - these appear to be very good in terms of having very limited brake dust, whilst performing rather well at the same time. They’re not track-worthy, but they’re pretty fade-resistant for spirited road use, modulate nicely and break in quickly. Initial bite is, as you’d expect for this sort of compound, not their strong suit, but they’re at least as good as factory pads in that regard, with the huge upside of minimal brake dust.Overall, I’m impressed - I’m a bit of a brake nerd (give me superb handling and great brakes any day over a gazillion horsepower), and these are a very good daily driver brake pad for a spirited driver. For reference I’ve fitted these to a Mk7.5 VW GTI with performance pack and APR Stage 1 tune.

Super reliable and great stopping power, very quiet and smooth with the performance. Will update if anything goes wrong which I doubt.

2019 GTI w/mods. These work great in day to day driving and I know they are not intended for track use but I thought I’d give them a shot since they have the “sport” name. Nope. Good for 1 day of five 15 minute sessions but that was it. Tried them for a 2nd track day because they had a lot of pad left but they were down to metal by the last session. I’ll buy them again for daily use.

Just as good as OEM pads, but NO BRAKE DUST. Now my wheels get cleaned and stay clean.

The stupid clip broke right off the pad when installing. Of course its Thursday night and I need to get to work. So I spend an extra half hour trying to repress the rivit in. Comparing to the OEM the rivits are junk and I'm overall disappointed in this product. I
