5 in 1: Stories of Birbal (Amar Chitra Katha 5 in 1 Series) Paperback – January 4, 2008

Not being Indian, I had no idea who Birbal was, and am surprised when this appeared on my Amazon recommendations page. I took a change and bought it, and it brought great fun and enjoyment to myself and my kids. That Birbal sure was a wise and funny guy! Would love to have met him in person, and get his advice for some of my own problems!

Excellent Books, Daughter loved it! Amazing and sensible stories. A lot to learn and gain knowledge from. Kids will love it too..

I read these stories to my son and he loves it. Goes to bed listening to one of these stories.

I read these as a kid. A good sampling of Birbal stories. Well illustrated, good stories, no violence, and lessons from a historical period.What was great about that period of time is Hindus and Muslims got along even though it would've been easier for the emperor to ignore the "others." It's sad that in modern times we've regressed from that social/civic intelligence.

I have read these books as a kid. I am glad that I was able to purchase this for my 8 year old daughter. She is very happy to read the comics. A few words are in hindi, so some adult guidance will be needed.
