A little noisey. I could put up with that . I have used the unit about 5 hours per week for 32 weeks . It started to produce a burning smell . Turned it off and it’s now not working at all. Just 160 hours of use and it’s done.

This is the 2nd one that has developed a fault. An electrical crackling sound...and hot to the touch. Dread to think what would have happened if I had not turned it off!! Cannot contact seller.

Set up as per instructions and it produced magic smoke ... pic taken 3 mins later still smoking was only connected for 3 secs to a 30 watt load refund requested

I stumbled across this Pure Sine Wave Inverter from Cantonape/lvyuan since I was looking for this brand. I know LVYUAN from other products and have always been pleasantly surprised, how high the quality is. This is the 4th Inverter we bought from that brand.Reading the only available review on the amazon page, I was first a bit like "Yikes,stay away"! But knowing the brand I couldn't really believe that this inverter should be no good! Looking at the efficiency, power und 1st impression I ordered it since it is a seriously good price for such a product!We installed it and connected it to a 500ah Battery unit and a load of 200w.It has been running now for 5 hrs and is working perfectly well. It has not gone any warmer than the other inverters. The quality of the pure sine wave generator is good and I can see a difference in a few gadgets like TV, chargers for E-Bikes etc. for the better ! Moneywise a steal!It is super silent. It is very well made and up to now I can't find anything to complain about! For me it is a LYUAN-product as good as the others we (LVYUAN, Bestek ) own, and I can absolutely recommend this product.I will update here once we have done our test with higher loads, etc., but for the moment I am very happy!UPDATE,48hrs later:we have had this inverter on continuous load of 200W -680W for 48hrs. The inverter has not overheated, worked as described, no smoke or funny smells. A friend of ours is a professional electronics "REPAIRMAN", he qualified within this area of expertise. He hooked up the inverter to his "Oscilloscope" and got stuck in. He was able to confirm that the inverter was absolute PURE SINE WAVE within usual parameters and pretty much everything that is written about this inverter by the manufacturer is correct.So, that put's that to bed!There is perhaps one thing to have an eye on if you get one for yourself: this inverter has no exterior cooling "finns" or grooves like others do. This means, it does need a well ventilated open area to not get to warm. I also recommend to put it "on legs", basically adding a few washers to the screws holding this inverter in place, to create an AIR-GAP under the inverter. I have NOT tested this Inverter in a car/camper somewhere in a hidden corner, so this is purely my own theory! I have supplied all my inverters with a small exterior 12v fan which creates a small cooling airflow along the body. Even if the inverters have their own.This is a simple solution to extend the lifespan of the internal electronics, the cooler they run, the longer they last.One thing we discussed was about the cables included: they are in all our eyes not of appropriate diameter. Quality is ok, but it seems that the inverter performs better with our 2gauge battery cables! For heavier use over longer time, thicker cables are a must! Well spent money.All in all, this inverter is a STEAL for the price and I can recommend it!Update, 1 week of continuous use: working as it should, no problems whatsoever. It deals well with changing power requirements, very stable, fans react quietly when necessary, no extreme heat developing.This probably now is the last update, will only add comments should anything important change.Short Update a few months later: absolutely no problems! Works well even in these cold Temperatures! Still very happy with it!
