I bought this motor for my scooter and the first one the transmission was locked up on it it would work but then if you try to roll in the thing and wouldn't even roll it was enough to break cuz I disconnected every single internet so they sent me another one no big deal this one brand good transmission was good then I was riding it all the sudden the chain table saw and I go okay maybe came loose and then I noticed the motor was loose okay well then did the bolts work your way out cuz I put Loctite on so they wouldn't and sure enough the lock is broken and I don't know how that can happen because it was tight I just actually double checked all the bolts for a few days before just to make sure that things aren't coming loose cuz there's a lot of vibration on these little Motors plus I have Loctite on the bolts and they were all nice and snug and now my warranty is out of its time frame which is just recently saw his course happens after the warranty is up and I'm stuck with a motor that's going to be sleeping or what I need it for and now I am stuck walking a mile and a half home because of this ridiculous the scooter is a 1999 the original motor last it all the way up to last summer when it finally lost compression after how many years of riding it with the original motor and not been through two Motors on it since I bought the new one and I don't beat the crap out of it I tried it real nice and easy I just used it to go up to the store and around town instead of driving my big truck and sucking up a bunch of gas I guess that's just how the cookie crumbles another wonderful product for Amazon that's no good thanks again not.

I bought this for a cheap scooter I was given that needed a carburetor, I mixed up the really oily gas it called for, let it idle a whole tank out, while occasionally revving it to clear unburned fuel/oil from the inside of the engine, refilled then after adjusting the idle and the carb mixture, I was able to GPS my scooter at 22 MPH with (me) a 140 pound person riding it.It is not a typo that this calls for 25:1 fuel to oil ratio, and it smokes pretty heavily, but this level of mix should keep it from wearing out as fast as I keep hearing about from others, who will typically admit to using their 50:1 saw gas in theirs when questioned.

It's a cool little motor, I thought I'd take the slightly used for 79$ but found out why it became 2nd hand. What the previous owner didnt disclosed was it no longer ran. Out of the box it had bin wiped down, but there was oil coming from between the intake manifold and the head, it got hot. It took me about a week to get it running right. But steadily worsened. Come to find out when I grabbed my end a scope camera I was looking I the cylinder and notist 2 gouge parallel to each other. But not vertical ina downward screw motion. The person in the factory who did the honing apparently gouge the cylinder wall which caused it to over heat one the first place. But since I got it to run and it had good compression. I'm buying a new one. Cause accidents happen and its pretty good well maid motor and fits my stand up moby bladez scooter perfectly ✌

It fits and runs but nothing to write home about

Excellent motor.

Arrived with the holes to attach gearbox not fully drilled or tapped. contacted amazon and they sent replacement set us back a few days on me and my son's weekend project.not the end of the world but a pretty easy to catch quality control issue that would have made me a happier customer.

I have bought two of these. The firts one runs great. The only issue with it is a little premature cluch wear. The secound one locked up after the 3rd pull. I never even got it to start. You are rolling the dice with these engines. Either they run great or are gabage.
