Didn’t work for me
Installed it while I was still in the US and the data worked just fine there but when I travelled to Italy it did not work. Had to buy another sim card in the airport.

Worked very well in Iceland and not necessary to register. No hassles!
This SIM card worked great in Iceland. No hassles. Just popped out my current AT&T nano card from my iPhone 6s before landing in Iceland and popped in this one. After landing, turned on phone and turned on data roaming. That's it! Within a couple minutes, I had a nice, relatively fast data connection that worked most places I traveled in Iceland. It's not quite LTE speed, but acceptable. 1GB goes a long way, too, unless you are downloading full-length movies. I don't think I surpassed 400-MB during the five days I was in Iceland (of course, used WiFi in our hotel whenever I could, saving wireless data). And I uploaded a lot of high-res photos and videos, too. The nice thing about this SIM card is there is absolutely no reason to register or log on to anything, unless you just want to (perhaps for upgrading data allowance or services). Would buy again for future trips to Europe. (I also had a good experience with this company using another of their SIM cards in Italy about six months ago.)

So far so good
I bought this relatively inexpensive DATA SIM to test. First loaded in one of the countries in Asia listed and it worked. Few days later brought same SIM back to the US and turned on and again it continued to work. My test confirmed it is ok to buy another SIM for use in Europe later.Three is a large telecom company and as long as one knows what a data SIM is, there is no reason why countries listed don't work. So the negative reviews in here I wondered if users have set phone properly or sought help from vendors to resolve problem. Now being a data SIM means you can't use it for voice call directly. But nowadays there's all kind of VOIP (voice over internet protocol) apps such as Whatsapp, WeChat (Asian countries), even Google hangout you can use the data connection to dial out locally or internationally. Incoming calls can also be made using data or WIFI if callers also have those apps installed.1Gb to last 30 days means don't watch movies or download whole bunch of photos while on the go. Wait till in WIFI environment (usually hotels) to do that. Other than that 1 Gb for me is sufficient to do Google Map search, internet surf (again no large files download), emailing etc.Speed depends on locality, it's not blazing fast so far in 2 different countries (Asia, US) but adequate enough to do the job.IMPORTANT: after reading some negatives here, I recommend reading the attached letter carefully and follow to the T.. You need to give sometime for activation to work! Popping SIM in does not guarantee immediate activation!!10-9-18 update: Bought a second identical SIM, this time the vendor was UKSim. Slightly different packaging than TravSIM. But same "Three.co.uk SIM card". Insert in my unlocked phone in the US, and within minutes, it activated with full 4G capability and self-configured everything. I am even more happy now. So far I've tested SIM in one of the Asia countries listed and in the US (different States), no issue. And I am confident it will work in countries listed in Europe as well.

Cannot Top Up
This did work on my trip to Italy, but the data ran out incredibly fast. The reason for one star is you cannot top up once you run out of data. If this sim card is your only option buy 2 or 3 because there is no way to add more data to it once it runs out.

Great SIM card, but unable to purchase extra data
I bought this to use on a two-week trip to Europe where I went to Iceland and Finland. It had great internet speeds in both countries and didn't require any activation; I just popped it into my iPhone (after sending an unlock request to my carrier – your phone must be unlocked to use this SIM card) and it was ready to go.I ended up opening Pokemon GO while I thought I was on airport wifi towards the beginning of the trip and accidentally blew through a chunk of data. I would recommend turning cellular data off while you're on wifi to avoid using your limited amount of data if it disconnects for some reason. Otherwise, if you're not using any apps that require a lot of data, 1GB should be fine for a couple weeks. After the Pokemon GO debacle, I got a text from Three about a week into the trip telling me that I was running low on data, and this is the reason I'm only giving this three stars instead of the five it deserves: I went to their website, registered the card using the ID number provided, and tried to buy more data (10 pounds for 1GB, if I remember correctly, which seemed fair). The only form of payment this company accepts is a credit card billed to a UK address. So I tried to buy a voucher code on several other websites, and they all had the same requirement. I ended up spending the last half of my trip with the data turned off and hanging out in gas stations with wifi whenever I needed to do something important, which is exactly what I was trying to avoid by buying this.I'm assuming that this SIM card is meant for non-European residents, not just British people with a plan limited to the UK, so it would be great if they would cater to that and make vouchers available on Amazon as well. If you anticipate needing extra data, be aware that you won't be getting any with this brand.
