Valeo 52405615 Solid Flywheel Conversion Kit

Valeo makes nice stuff but there was literally no packaging in the clutch box. I returned it as the clutch disc was damaged

This replaced a dual-mass flywheel in my Audi. I had been a little worried about using it after reading stories of clutch chatter with non-dual-mass flywheels, but this kit performs perfectly. The bite point changed, probably because of the old clutch being worn compared to the new one, so it took a while to get used to. But it works great and I am happy that I bought it, particularly compared to the cost of Audi parts!

Bought and installed this to replace my worn out dual mass flywheel/clutch. If I were to do it again, I'd get oem flywheel bolts and either a metal slave or oem slave cylinder. The flywheel bolts included have very shallow heads and it was difficult to get a good grab with the torque wrench. That aside, clutch works great, price is great. Clutch holds my stage 2 unitronics tune @ 22psi. I'm 1k miles on the clutch, we'll see how it holds up long term.

I LEARNED THIS THE HARD WAY.Valeo has mis-marked the assignment of this clutch kit for the Audi TT mk1, switching the packs for the 5spd and 6spd manual transmission 02M.From factory: 5spd transmission input shafts have a 23-tooth spline (shown by first image from my old DMF clutch), which fits the clutch disc spline of THIS kit (the 6spd kit) 52405615.6spd transmission input shaft has a 28-tooth spline (shown by second image), which will only fit the 52255602 kit (pictured second) marked as the 5spd kit.

The product look good but was broken from poor Packaging

did not fit my car.

Great cheap alternative to the factory dual mass and I can't feel any difference when driving and shifting.
