So....Your like me and you bought this part thinking it is an exact replacement...no it is not, but at first appearance it looks identical...let me explain and maybe this will save you from hours of lost time changing out this door lock cylinder with key...My vehicle is 2001 Honda Accord LX / 2 Door Coupe 4 cylinder VTEC...I first removed the driver's door cylinder, which was a very difficult even with YouTube videos and lots of mechanical experience, but maybe I'm just dumb and old...but I did remove it intact and studied the engineering concepts behind the door cylinder application....After buying the presumed right part on Amazon...I discovered that the first part bought was not identical in nature to the original door lock cylinder removed and promptly returned to Amazon for a refund.Next... I re-ordered the next presumed correct part from Amazon and it came promptly and here's what the problem is..."THESE AFTERMARKET PARTS ARE MACHINED AND MUST HAVE QUALITY CONTROL...OTHERWISE THEY DO NOT FIT CORRECTLY"The cylinder barrel slides into the door handle round lock housing and if not perfectly machined ....it does not fit!I have attached photos of the original barrel fitting less the key lock and tumblers, so that You can inspect for yourself and also photos of the door handle inner cylinder housing.CONCLUSION....Although I love to buy aftermarket parts and saving money....this is "0ne Part" that needs to be OEM...because it has to be quality machined and perfect in fit tolerance, so off to Honda Parts I go cheerfully....after several disappointing delays and lost repair time....Also...I noticed that no one else has posted this problem because I have read countless reviews with no mention of machining tolerance of this door lock assembly....maybe it's just me and you will get one that fits....GOOD LUCK!☺

Obviously not OEM even though stated otherwise. The price makes it obvious. Did not fit yet managed to use parts to fix the original. Plastic inside the lock was broken, but again, sending it back is not possible since I had to open it to notice that.Overall not terrible, but the fit is bad and the quality is questionable. Would not buy again, but the price is ok for what you get.

I bought this for an Honda Civic 2005 auto, I recived I took to a Honda body shop dealer, and the lock doors do not fit on the car Its not the same as the original.

was assured this part would fit my car. once I got part mechanic says its way too baig

The media could not be loaded.  Only opening and locking car doors!! Install pretty easy if you have the tools and the experience ! !!!!
