I was so pleased with an earlier version doing a fantastic job in a TP-Link Router and in a ASUS-Router with LTE-USB port that I bought this more advanced version (with 3 instead of 1 LED and inbuilt wifi). After 30 minutes everything was setup and working with 100% stability. I use this USB LTE stick in a full rural area with low signal from a 10 km distant tower but direct view. My only posibility to have Internet. And my Router is sharing this Internet source with 4 houses. My LTE plan is 16 mbps down and 8 Mbps up unlimited. Sometimes I use the 2 external antenna slots. Sometimes I take the stick to go on travel and just put it into the car using the wifi it is creating. Recommended 100%

I bought this to use with a time lapse camera setup I am doing at a construction site for 6-8 months. The camera I am using needs internet connection to upload the pictures daily so I purchased this thinking it would be easy to get a data plan and get it set up. The day it arrived, I went to an AT&T store as they had a nice deal on a prepaid data plan. That night when I was home I tried to fire this up. The first disappointing aspect was that it came in a small box with literally no paperwork. It wasn't until a couple hours later of struggling to get it to connect to the internet that I finally was able to get some instructions on it. I spent maybe 6 hours over the course of 3 days trying to get it to connect to the AT&T network. I reached out to Huawei and they tried to help over the phone and after verifying that the SIM card that I had from AT&T was working, the helper from Huawei said that he thinks it must be defective and I would need a new one. I sent mine back in to Amazon and decided I would just get an AT&T branded device instead. After sending mine back to Amazon, an Amazon worker was able to somehow find out that the device is not compatible with the network. Amazing that the Huawei employees didn't even know that much to point me in the right direction.
