My stepbrother got a nice new truck with some fancy accessories, and had been bit by the audio bug with his last car. I got this radio for him for Christmas - I got the dash kit and wiring harness for his vehicle pretty cheap from my workplace, but this was still the best deal on a radio that has all the fixins. Seriously, you aren't going to find a better radio at this price, I looked. It has android auto, apple carplay, USB hookups, an aux port (both front-mounted!!), CD/DVD player, 13-band equalizer, a full gamut of RCA hookups for front and rear channel preouts, subs, cameras, etc. and a respectable RMS power rating. Real world testing shows this unit to put out 17-18W RMS, which is more than you'll find from Pioneers and Duals, and on-par with Sony. The screen is decently bright, too, which was something I figured would be an issue at this price point.He loves it, it gets plenty loud for him, and for my mother too, she complained to me on day 2 of him having it, asking why I had to get him this. Haha.

Just installed, sounds good, tons of features, having some trouble with Android Auto Connecting to my phone, but if that is the only issue, 5 start from me!

Nice head unit. You WILL need an amp. They didn't leave out the wattage information by chance. It's because it will barely drive the stock speakers. My little Jensen Bluetooth unit did waaaaay better. However it's a nice unit with Android Auto and backup camera option. Instructions for installation of camera are fuzzy at best. But so far a nice unit. Still searching for the Bass turn up options..... Update, added an amp and now I'm totally frustrated. This is a complete waste. The sound quality is just poor. Absolutely no bass and no clear highs. It's pretty junk.

Sub rca out failed after a couple months and system auto resets randomly just about every time the car turns on. Most people complain about AirPlay not working but ours has actually worked well.

After months of ownership and installation of a $500 boss unit in another car, I have to change this 1 star review to a 5 star review. For the price (and $120 on other sites) this unit is a steal. Audio isn’t great but compared to low end Boss units at $500, they both have similar issues such as camera/input delays and misspelled words.

this unit is loaded with features but has two major flaws . first issue , unless you have a sub-woofer there is no bass . installed into a tacoma 2011 quad cab with stock speakers , no bass . installed new speakers ( jbl first time and polk second time ) no bass . installed amplifier then with some improvement but no satisfaction until sub was installed . the stock radio and speakers were ok with the bass level at the slightly enhanced level by the tone controls . spent a lot more that i was planning to spend just switching out a head unit . second problem , the head unit loses its memory ( reset to factory ) if the head lights are on when starting . the support recommends turning off the rds feature to stop this . this stops the reset about 80% of the time . i saw a circuit addition that i can build to stop this with a capacitor and a diode but you would think that the manufacturer would have taken low voltage at startup into consideration .

The product was good but unfortunately since I got a used one it didn't come with all the components that it was supposed to have.I didn't get the mounting bracket and I didnt get the hardware I didn't get the speaker harness nore did i get the other harness it's not easy tracking down the other harness because nobody seems to have it and I went to the manufacturer and since I got noticed Amazon there's no warranty and the stoped communicating with me but the unit it self does work as well as i can get it without the other 8 pin harness so I can't tell you about the backup camera or the sub woofer cause I haven't wired it alternatively yet as inshouldnt have to but with out the triger wire to the back up camera it won't work very well anyways

I bought this radio in 06/2024 after the one in my car went out. I bought my car with this brand and model already installed and thought I would buy the same one because I like how it functions and the volume is a dial and not a button. Honestly it shuts down so often and now it has completely burned wires and is not functional. Horrible quality for over $100 on a radio.
