Once elements installed, water heater is providing hot water again
Got the kit and turned off the Circuit breaker and got the covers open where the heating elements are located. Then drained the tank, very important, then getting out the old elements was a challenge, we are in a high lime content area and they were kind of difficult but, got them out, new ones installed, fit perfect, got it all back together, filled the tank and got all air out of the system, turned on the Circuit Breaker and bingo, about an hour and half, lots of hot water! And as an addition, I thiought I had a 1.5 inch socket! I did not, these elements are impossible to loosen without the proper socket and bar to break them loose from tank water mineral deposits! There is another kit with a socket tool! Hint Hint!

It’s not bad for a price
The elements have worked great so far I’ve had them in for a few months now, I can’t say anything about the t-stats cause I set them to the side for back ups cause my old ones are fine however the wrench sucks, complete waste, better off with a 1 1/2 socket

Everything you need!!
Installation was uneventful except for having a lot of corrosion to clean up on the lower element. It had been leaking for some time. Installed in an A.O. Smith model Ent 50/100 water heater. The new elements were a little longer but worked fine. The new thermostats were a little different construction but I was able to fit them in position ok. The wiring diagrams and schematic included were very helpful.Refilled water heater and turned on breaker with no leaks and lots of hot water.

Could be better
I don't like the way the screw terminals are set up on the thermostats. It's really hard to get the wires in and stay there because there's not a guide like on the OEM model that keeps the wires in place. It makes it so it's easy for them to either disconnect or short circuit. The elements are also smaller than what my OEM elements were as they were double layered and these are just a single.
