Well impressed, Very hard to beat
Very good quality, and very useful. There is also a unique night light feature that most other lanterns don’t have. The folding also makes it very easy to carry, and it quite lighter than I initially thought. My only main concern is to getting 4 D batteries, but it’s a good trade off for the long battery life. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Wonderful a rugged light
Love this light. We use it around the house, when camping and when we are at the beach. The different light modes, the ability to adjust the light angle, the red light, the ability to hang the light make it great. The light doesn’t consume batteries at a crazy rate and it stands up to the outdoors and regular use. We keep 2 on standby with batteries in case of an power outage.

Great, Bright, Inexpensive Light
I received this light to test as part of Home Tester Club and I have to say, I was very impressed! I've bought other, more expensive lights, and this one is VERY bright and it didn't cost a fortune! I'll have to see how long the batteries last (needs 4 D batteries, not included), but from the initial test the light was very bright, the night light was a nice, subtle glow, and I also like that there is a plug on the back to charge your phone with (charging cord not included)! For the ballpark of $20 and all these features, I would recommend it. I can see how it would be nice for camping (has a carrying handle). I will be using it as an emergency light source, should we ever need it, and I think it's plenty bright for that. I would recommend!

Still good lantern for hurricane duty
I had the very old version of this lantern that had the dual fluorescent tubes and the little orange led night light. After Hurricane Ike hit Houston, we had no power for 16 days. We ran off a generator during that time, and used this lantern in the living room since we had relatives over camping out there. The little night light was perfect because it gave just enough light to allow people to find the bathroom that weren't familiar with the house. The rest of the time, we used it as a general lantern around the house and outside. Since it used D-cells, it lasted for days before needing a recharge. For this new one I just bought, I got the Amazon Basics 4-pack of NiMh D-cells since I have a Maha charger that will charge them. The old one was sensitive to being banged around and killing one of both of the tubes, but the new one doesn't have that problem. Very happy with the new version.

Practical
I received this complementary for testing purposes. This comes handy for camping, we used it and the amount of light was so good. It is not heavy at all and is so practical to use, the only thing that maybe I find that it lacks is the option of charging the lamp. It uses battery and they last for long, but it would be better if it was rechargeable, in my opinion. #HomeTesterClubFreeSample
