"Am I doing something wrong?" ...
That is what my mother said when her phone, inside the Ska Direct Cell Phone Protective Bag, rang after she called it from a land line. My mother grew up bf our world was digitized and is not technologically savvy, if you will. I had to laugh through my initial disappointment because she immediately believed she must be to blame as her Samsung S4 rang and vibrated from inside the bag. But, upon further inspection, yes, Mom, actually you did do something wrong. She'd put the phone on the front side of the divider. This is extremely important as it's the difference bw ring/no-ring, tracked/not tracked, 1-star/5-stars, etc. But, I got ahead of myself. Take a trip back in time with me, if you don't mind. Let's start with concerns. That's right, concerns...I'd become convinced that I have a softball sized tumor in my brain because of the invisible electronic waves my phone (read: govt tracking device) and numerous other electronic devices pulse through my dome. Maybe not that large - or a tumor at all but I can't confirm bc my $300 per month "gold plan" Obama Care would likely laugh at an MRI coverage request like they have all my prior ones - but the fact is that we don't know. We just don't know about the health effects of all the radio signals flowing thru our all too often obese bodies. "They (meaning good ole uncle sam) would never allow technology like this to be sold if it were harmful." To that naive view, I say, we'll see. Or, "How about a nice diet beverage?" A little aspartame, anyone, hmmm? I think I made my point, did I not? If you said "no" quit reading and do not buy this product. It's worthless to you unless you want a nice wallet style case (and it is nice in that regard especially considering the price). Rather, if you said, "I think you might be onto something" (I don't demand an outright "yes" - who wants a bunch of lemmings) then please, read on.My recent research about the health issues now associated with radio waves and "dirty electricity" was a wake-up call. I read a cheap (as in inexpensive not cheap as in Made in China ... which this 5-star product is, but let's not get bogged down in semantics, okay) kindle pamphlet so I won't go all expert on you (nor did I sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night). It is a serious topic and we are all at risk. Particularly children stand to suffer the most long term effects as they have yet to fully form and have been subjected to it from birth. Kiddos are saturated with wifi all day at school and likely all night at home, mbl phones in a pocket or backpack (and dozens more owned by classmates), bluetooth coming laptops, phones, headphones - it's an epidemic!Okay, so that's the health side. You may not believe the health issues will play out. Fair enough, Donald Rumsfeld, didn't I ask your type to quit reading? Just kidding, that's a terrible thing to call someone, I know. (As ole Ronny Dumsfeld was the big "aspartame is great" proponent in the 90's, it was just too tempting - isn't it interesting that bw his gigs lying to us from DC he got a gig lying to congress in DC as a lobbyist?) Again, I digress into seriousness, but only briefly: I feel it to be a worthwhile pursuit (in a world so demanding of our time) to spend a few minutes educating yourself about the health hazards I've touched on. A bluetooth mouse/keybd/headset, cordless land line phones, wifi, laptops and mbl phones emitting most of the above and even household appliances now in on it. It's much too much a part of our lives to not be as fully informed as practicable and Kindle has a wide, inexpensive selection of quick-read titles on the subject. Okay, the lecture is over for now.The other benefit is the one most people want to avail themselves: the desire to eliminate all signals emanating from the device thus disallowing any tracking of said device. Personally, I don't like carrying a tracking device with me at all times, but I am nutty that way (but only that way). If you just thought "If you aren't doing anything wrong, what do you care who can track you?" - I thought I told you to quit reading? Seriously, in case you missed it the "war on terror" has shifted its focus to the cyber world (so start a business and lobby govt contracts - no experience necessary per the post-911 boom precedent - yeah, I am back on the soapbox). Anything I can do to make myself less visible is a good thing. So, I determined a Faraday cage type bag for at least the mbl phone to be a must-have items for myself and loved-ones. This fills that need without costing a lot. And, as mentioned, it is a nice quality for a case. We've come so far together. We've waded through health issues and govt (or the unmentioned psycho ex-boyfriend/girlfriend etc) tracking, but there is something else we need to talk about. I always read reviews. I find them very helpful though sometimes quite bizarre (you just thought, "my thoughts exactly"), I appreciate them. Now, however, it is more difficult to see the real reviews from the "I received the product for an unbiased review" (usually stated at the end as a "gotcha" to the reader). I should have known marketers would find out a way to compromise such a useful and usually truthful system. My reading of the reviews for this product led me to believe this bag was the real deal. I'd like to thank Ska Direct for not polluting the review waters with 5-star reviews provided by prostitutes - I mean, reviewers - who got a free bag outta the deal.I am gonna buy more. This expression came to mind: If something seems to be too good to be true, it usually is. Well, and not for the first time, Amazon (combined with slave labor) disproves that rule of thumb.

Works as advertised, great value. Keep your location private.
A nice little case, passes the call your phone test, no ringey dingey.Let's face it everything and everyone is being tracked. Who you call, what you say, what you text and email, and where you go is no different. At least with this pink little black bag keeps your traveling and whereabouts private until you open it up and take your phone out.I kind of like the color, normally I chose black for my accessories, but you know, when you're looking for your phone in a dark purse or bag or on a messy desk, the pink is actually helpful. I have an iphone 5 and it fits with a little room to spare. There's a small loop on the corner, so it could be attached to a carabiner or other attachment. I think the pink and white edging will eventually show dirt and marks. The fact that this is a tad bigger than my phone is a plus, because if it were ever dropped, the extra space will make a much needed cushion.I recommend you either turn your phone off or put it in airplane mode to conserve battery.

Also there should be a better guide to size your device with the right pouch
It does work, shields your electronics device in the RF pouch. I will eventually find an app or something to record the changes/degradation of the RF signals. The only reason I give it 4 stars, there is no way to strap or holster the pouch. Also there should be a better guide to size your device with the right pouch, some customers might want something that fits in their pockets I am not complaining since this could eventually hold many things that I haven't considered.Forbes article on E-Z Pass trackinghttp://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2013/09/12/e-zpasses-get-read-all-over-new-york-not-just-at-toll-booths/
