86 CJ7 restoration
Read a lot of good reviews about Fairchild rubber. Was Leary of aftermarket glass not fitting so had a local glass shop cut me one from my stock template. Use a lot of soap spray and the paracord method. It's a pain in the a$$ getting the slick rubber to stay around the frame and pushed into the front of the frame. A second set of hands is a huge help on the whole install. YouTube, and take your time so not to tear or streatch the rubber and you'll be fine. Once in, it gapped and fit a little loose in the corners. I expected this and after a few days of rest it settled in. Overall I am happy with the quality and fit of the seal and would buy another. Leave few reviews but since I always read them it's my duty to leave one.Old fire guy

84 CJ7 with factory windshield and worked like a charm
Having had my CJ for a few years, it made sense to do a frame off. During that I decided to paint it with Monstaliner. I've heard nothing but good things about the Fairchild gaskets, so figured this was the right one to go with. My CJ7 is all original body, hood, fenders, and windshield. This gasket went on and fit the way it should. I was able to reassemble the windshield, and now I'm waiting for stainless bolts and washers to finish assembly. Very happy with my purchase.

Fit as it should
The seal fit my 76 CJ windshield as it should. This is my second seal that I had to purchase (purchased the first from a different manufacturer/brand). The first was too big and did not fit the factory windshield - this one hit the mark.

Careful, requires a custom cut windshield for a 74 CJ5 and similar
This is not OEM for a 1974 cj5 and similar windshield frame. The OEM seal (two piece - seal with lock seal) requires a windshield with a 1/4 gap between glass and windshield frame. This seal has almost 0 space between windshield and seal, requiring glass that's nearly the same dimensions as the frame. If you order an OEM windshield and try to install it with this seal, it will be too small.

Did not fit a 1979 CJ5 Windshield
Looks well made but did not fit my 79’ CJ5 Windshield. This part was a few inches too long. I ended up ordering elsewhere.
