Works well with existing rails I currently have
Purchased to add some flexibility to my existing rails to allow more per rail as needed. Work great just as originals did and easy to remove ends to add, remove or change out retention clips.

Clips hold in place well
As long as you don't try to take these off, they should be fine and last a long time. They stay in place and are sturdy even on Olsa rails, which of course they were not made for. You have to use pliers to remove the locking end caps once they're in place, and they're at risk of breaking when you do so. They feature two clips, one on each side of the rail. With small needle-nose pliers, you can gently grip one clip and pull it out/up, then do the same with the other side, and voila, the thing should detach. The side clips are fragile, though, and at least 1 of 4 times you are probably going to end up breaking the clip. So just try to be as sure as possible that you don't want to add/remove any sockets from your rail before putting on these locking end caps!

Fits perfectly on a Harbor Freight Socket Rail
Bought this for the U.S. General Socket Rail I got at Harbor Freight. Identical to the ones it came on there. Saved a lot of money.

Does not fit craftsman socket strips.
Well built but note that this item does not fit the Craftsman brand of socket straps. I returned the ones I purchased.

Good - But Don't Fit Craftsman or Harbor Freight Rails
These seem like good quality, but just to confirm what some others have said - they will NOT fit Craftsman rails. Or Harbor Freight rails. Not that the company said they did, and of course i had no right to make any assumptions. It was a gamble.I'll keep them in case I ever have something they fit, but just thought I'd add to the chorus on this.
