Inks are stunning, they are gorgeous, delicious and make us feel like a child in a candy store. But do we know what to do with them, beside collecting, admiring, owing and "drawing" sometimes beautiful calligraphy. A talented artist and teacher guides us through a very understandable process of creating art with ink, step-by-step, and by making multiple projects. For people who know Anna from Skillshare, no words are needed to describe her first book - we know how diligent is Anna in creating class material- to inspire, ignite , instruct and support all her students. The book is no less than her other work- pure passion! The media could not be loaded. Oh I love how many different techniques are explained in this book! You get enough information about ink types and their qualities (acrylic, shellac, Chinese, Indian, alcohol inks, etc), different tools and materials and of course all the different techniques you need to know to get creative with your inks.As most step by step guides, each exercise comes with several images and detailed instructions. There is a section with templates you can copy and follow along the lessons if you don't feel confident enough to draw something different. You can pick from one or all of the themes included in this book: nature, figures and portraits, still life and craft projects.Recommended for those who want to start arting with inks or those who already do but want to explore new techniques and projects.

I pre-ordered this book could not wait to receive it, Anna is one of my Skillshare teachers love all of her classes, she gives step by step guidance and the history of each lesson is a wonderful touch, she is an excellent Artist and teacher and her book was well worth the wait.
