VERY pleased with this screen!
This screen is really working well for our family! We received it pretty fast after ordering. The company has great follow up service- almost too exhuberant, like that little cousin that keeps asking you to play! LOL! I have gotten several emails asking me to contact them with any installment or function issues so they can solve them "ninja fast". I had misplaced the instructions and emailed to ask for a copy. They got back to me within a day, and while they were not able to directly supply me with a copy- something about Amazon poilcy- they linked me directly to a page that I was able to hunt down instructions from. I found the original shortly after, of course :-)I got this screen to be used on a front entry door in place of a heavy storm door that was difficult to handle. Even with some personal physical challenges, the installation was moderately easy for me. The velcro glue backing is super sticky so adheres well to my vinyl siding on outside of house that is protected by porch roof. Even though I unintentionally installed the backing a little wider than than the screen size, the screens velcro strip is wide enough and strong enough that I was able to cinch it inward, attatching half the width or less of the screen velcro to the backing, and it still holds perfectly. When I first attached the screen velcro to the backing on the house, the screen was all wavy and unattractive, the magnets didn't close. I just had to make some minor adjustments by pulling the screen off the backing and re attaching it. I think it was 2 or 3 adjustments and it then hung perfectly flush and straight across the doorway. The screen material is not at all flimsy. It is thick enough that I can feel a temperature difference between inside and outside the screen when I open it. I was concerned it would look like a massive black sheet over the doorway but it is also made of material thin enough to resemble a screen door, just a little more dense than screen. It is a cloth type material that is not abrasive against your hand when you push through it.My toddler, 2 dogs, one cat and adults use the screen regularly. I have a power chair I go through with also. I can carefuly drive the power chair through the screen without it catching on the chair and the toddler and animals do not need any assistance to get through. When hands are full, a nudge with a should or hip opens the screen to allow us to pass through. The screen recloses itself behind us 98% of the time. The place I had to hang the backing strip made for a really tight install area at the top. I cannot get the top of screen velcro 100% attached to the backing because of the install area. Has nothing to do with the product or functionality, it is because the area is too tight. Anyway, because I can't get it tucked in at the top, occasionaly the screen kind of sags downward from that little spot, so that 2% of the time it doesn't self close is because the area I installed it doesn't allow for needed adjustment to make it close 100% of the time. I can live with a self inflicted 2% failure rate! LOL! And all I have to do is jiggle the screen with one hand and the magnetic strip sucks together quickly.I hadn't thought in advance of the metal front door we have here. Initially, every time we came into the house, the screens magnetic strip clung onto our metal door near the bottom, so the screen could not re close itself. I found some clear plexiglass we were not using, attached to the plexiglass with clear packing tape a few thin refrigerator magnets (that come on the telephone book or cheapie advertising magnet from doctors office), hung the plexiglass "shield" on the metal door where the magnets were sticking and presto- the plexiglass is keeping the screen magnets from sticking to the metal door now. The screen magnets act like they are going to stick, but then slide off the plexiglass and the screen closes itself. The front door is 100% visible through the plexiglass strip so that nobody even notices it is there. The toddler needed a few reminders not to pull on the screen at first. It was tugged on with decent enthusiasm a few times so that it sag/stretched a bit from the top- easily remedied by pushing it back in place with a walking cane- but still did not come off the velcro backing on the house. The dogs and cat wiggle their noses or heads through the screen opening and walk through without any trouble.I purchased this screen myself and I am not a paid reviewer (~wish I was! I could use the income!). I am writing specifically to our experience with this product. I am really satisfied with this product. I think the screen is great, the price is great, the service is great. No more heavy front entry storm door to push through that takes forever to close behind us- letting in all sorts of bugs while it does, and then loudly slamming behind us! I wish I had enough money to get a second screen for the back exit, too, where passage is difficult! If you experience any trouble installing the screen, I encourage you to contact the company for assistance- they reply "ninja fast!". With a little patience and some guidance, it really is easy to make minor adjustments in the screen if needed, then it just hangs there doing its job keeping the bugs out :-)

Perfect if you live in the world of "Good Enough"
THIS IS AN UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW:The original mesh was a little too small for my door. I realize now that this was my fault and not the fault of the product. Since it did not fit properly, it did not always close correctly and it soon developed a tear in the bottom corner. The tear was more than just an inconvenience, but my dogs' heads sometimes got stuck in the hole and they would be trapped in the mesh until I realized it and freed them.Since the hole was becoming an issue for the dogs' safety, but I still needed a mesh on the porch door, I ordered a second and discovered that I could order a larger size. (I know, "DUH" right?) This was even easier to put up since I knew how to do it and since the velcro tape was still on the door frame from the previous mesh. The sticky stuff was still strong and I just had to adjust the location a little and supplement them with new tape. The it was just pull down the old mesh and put up the new mesh. The new mesh fits perfectly and works near perfectly. There is sometimes a gap at the bottom that does not close all the way. If I nudge it with my foot, it usually closes immediately. I would say that the mesh closes all the way better than 90% of the time. So, taking into consideration that the right size makes for a more enjoyable experience, I am bumping it up to FIVE STARS. It is still not perfect (but what is?), but it does the job and is better than "good enough."ORIGINAL REVIEW:During nice weather, I enjoy spending all my time in my enclosed back porch, overlooking my large back yard, listening and witnessing the nature outside my window. It was fairly easy to put up. It is a bit narrow for the door on which I need it.I also have three dogs, and when I am working, I was left with the choice of leaving them inside, enclosing them on the porch, or leaving them outside. When outside, they are cut off from their food, and even though there is a large dog house, only two dogs will use it.My remedy as of late has been to prop open the porch door that leads outside, so that the dogs can come and go as they wish to eat or to get out of the sun or rain. The downside is that it leaves a giant opening for insects and whatever else wants to venture in.I saw a commercial for the Magic Mesh and figured I'd give it a shot. If it works, it would solve the problem until the weather turns cold again. Frankly, I thought the one on TV was the one I was buying. It is not. This is not the one that "clicks," but it is the same basic idea.So now for the part you care about.THE PROS:*It basically does what it says it does*The material seems durable. I'll let you know how much after a month or so. But for the most part it can handle my dogs going in and out regularly (my one year old blasts through it quickly and forcefully and it stays firm.*The glue holding the velcro strips onto the door frame is strong, and there is plenty of extra of the velcro strip to replace any pieces that fall away over time.*The dogs are not afraid of it. When first installed, my dogs just assumed it was a closed door. I gently guided them through it a few times and they figured it out -- some more quickly than others. Part of the trick for the dogs' learning is that they have been conditioned that doors open at the sides, so they were nosing around the door frame looking for an opening, rather than in the middle. After a few days, they all pretty much had it figured out.THE CONS:*It is narrow and almost does not fit the door frame. I do not believe that the door frame is extra large. The screen can be adjusted on the velcro to get a tight fit.*It takes a bit of adjusting and repositioning to get the screen to be tight but also still be able for the magnets to close it.*There are gaps around the side. So, once it is set up how you want it, you will probably want to seal around the edges with packing tape or something to seal off the gaps and keep smaller insects out.CONCLUSION:It's not perfect. But if you are willing to live in the world of "Good Enough" then it is perfect enough. It basically does what it says it does, just not as perfectly as suggested. Those imperfections can be dealt with by supplementing the installation with things like tape around the borders.I will post a follow up comment as time goes by to inform consumers of how long it lasted and of any issues that developed over time.

Make Summer Bug Free
Installation was easy enough, although the SCAC code provided in the packaging for installation instructions was no longer valid. It let me turned the garage into a bug free Summertime She-Shed that allows my dogs to wander in & out freely. And I get to have morning coffee with the early birds (literally.)I wish the magnets were stronger, though. It was a little windy today and the magnets didn't hold up well.

Great product!
I bought two of these, one for my single door and one for a french door. I've had them up for a month and both work great. You walk through and they magically (magnetically) close behind you. Highly recommended.

works good. this is my second one. the first one did not last longer then 1 yr. they dont stand up to direct sun very well. If it was more thicker/ hevey duty it would be a excellant product. I guess its worth the money. Fast shipping.

Does not close
The magnets in this screen are not large or strong enough. The screen is very light weight and the screen does not drop into position which prevents the screen from closing as it should. The positive feedback, the screen comes in different sizes.
