Absolutely cute!I decided to decorate my living room with an outdoor theme. This duck is very colorful and quite lovely. It has a mounting pad at the bottom so that you can mount the toy on your wall. Any wall hook or picture hanger will work. There is also a small loop in the back for those who want to use a ceiling mount. Ceiling mount is the most natural and looks the best. The wings and the legs have wires inside the stuffing so you can "pose" them according to your chosen mounting options. For example, you will need to fold the legs in if you choose to wall mount. Ceiling mount allows you to extend the legs down for a more natural look.The toy is made of very good quality material. It is squeezable but it is not really meant to be used that way. It is a wall toy. This is a decoration piece that is meant for display. I used a mono filament fishing line to hang my duck from the ceiling in a dining room corner. The line is invisible so the duck looks like she's floating in the air. I love it.I also have the elk (Teton) and the trout. Both are hanging on the wall. All of the plush wall toys from this manufacturer are adorable. I have recently placed an order for the bear (Tahoe) and another trout.Highly recommended.

I have it hanging on my wall, flying. So cute and the wings have wire so you can bend them. I want the male now!!!! I got the Male!!!!

I bought this mallard hen as a present for my kids to go with a stuffed drake while I was away for home for a few weeks for work. They love her and she now has a prominent place among the stuffed animals. Soft and well made. A great toy. Plenty of value for the money.

I just unpacked this little Mallard Duck.. and she's a colorful well-made beauty! I'm going to suspend it from the ceiling using an "invisible" fishing line, as a helpful reviewer has suggested. And since my small studio has plenty of ceiling space, I'm considering giving Madeline a flying companion or two. I was even thinking of getting a stuffed Bengal Tiger...but that might scare the little duck. She is nicer in person than the photo shows. The colors are very bright, and the duck is very soft to the touch! There two choices on how to hang her. One is by the cloth hoop on top so she looks like she is flying over head, or the cloth hoop under her which looks like the photo.

Love this little duck! She is about half the size of a real duck, and very easy to pose. I have hung her from the ceiling with fishing line, anchored to two points so that she is angled. We homeschool and have our own flock of domestic ducks (including a female Rouen which looks exactly like a mallard). We named this little one Sage and hung her in the schoolroom, flying over the table. Kids love her!
