Very thin wood.
Liked it for the price.Disliked it for, where do I begin!!The quality of the wood, it’s terrible, think balsa wood.Door with 1cm gap top and bottom & rattles.Side panels not fitted together properly (shows big gap)Top ridge with gap along its length (assume to let rain in) and end not fitted.Small screws too long, so it perforated roof felt.No support for nesting area, so anymore then one hen will bow the base.Tray to collect poop etc very loose (when pushed in) no support, so potentially will fall to ground if chickens move off perches. It was also not fixed flush on one side. All in all, very disappointed.Best bit (strength wise) the ramp.I will be strengthening the vast majority of this, as a fox would only need to push it and it would be in.

Incredible value for money.
We put together the hen house in an hour, it looks so good! really solid and well made. Houses three full sized chickens who are very happy.

Great size and nicely built.
Took 1 person around 2 hours to build. Easy to follow instructions and the quality of the product is good.Had read so many reviews, of so many chicken coops and so many complained of flimsy materials and little space for the chickens. This had no reviews, but it looked sturdy. So I took a gamble with it.And am pleased I did. The coop looks nice, is well made, and the chickens have more than enough room.I have only 3 chickens, who at 10 weeks old, dont take up much room. When they are fully grown I think they will still have enough room. Remember, this is only for them to sleep in, and hopefully lay their eggs in, once they get out into the garden the coop is just a bedroom. There are 6 nesting areas and plenty of perch space, the metal pull out drawer is essential for keeping the space clean. My only complaint, and it's not about the product itself, was the delivery of the coop. One box arrived one day, and a second box the next day. This meant I had to stay at home for 2 days running. Less of an inconvenience as it was Easter half term, but had I been at work I would have missed both deliveries.

Fair for the price.
Quick review; fair for the price, but will need some work to make it winter proof. Will fit 6 2kg hens with ease in the coop at night, absolutely not fox resistant.Long review; it's a nice little coop, and I wasn't expecting the earth for what I paid. The instructions are very simple to follow. I built the coop itself in about an hour with just a hand screwdriver. Would have been less had I not put the sides on the wrong way around (my own fault as I hadn't yet found the instructions!). It all fits together beautifully.I was constantly worried I would damage something while putting it together. It feels very flimsy and in fact came slightly damaged, despite being very well packaged. Check the photos for that. Part of the run wire has come away from the wood, as the staples are very small and the wood is very soft. I'm only using the coop. The run will be used as garden fencing as I have a much sturdier, very fox resistant run. I would not trust this run or coop to keep a hungry fox out, or indeed a human thief. A few good tugs on the nesting box base would do it.I set the coop up but haven't moved the girls yet. I wanted them to get accustomed to it, and to see how it copes with Scottish weather. Verdict; not terribly well. There are a few leaks within the coop, and the nest box leaks terribly as the roof drips water directly into the hinge. Poor, poor design there. Another cm of wood on the roof and it wouldn't happen. There's also a leak in the roof but I have no idea where it is coming from. I will be adding shed roofing felt to all the necessary parts (if/when it ever stops raining) to waterproof it. I'll also be adding some insulation and draft proofing. The pull out tray, while I'm sure will making cleaning a doddle, does mean there is a small gap in the floor where a breeze will blow right up the girls' bloomers at night!Overall I'm happy with it. As I said; for the price it's okay and it was the only coop I could find that fit the design and configuration I needed. Will need a few easy modiciations. But it's definitely not fox resistant and will be chilly in winter without those modifications.

Don’t buy!
Wasn’t expecting much for the price, but definitely wasn’t expecting this. Where do I start?? Not weatherproof at all, I have repainted it in waterproof paint. Bolt holes didn’t line up, I had to make new ones so nesting boxes would go on, these by the way are very flimsy & a lot of the screws will be replaced with stronger one’s there’s large gaps in the bottom of the nesting boxes & the latches were rusty. The base was covered in some kind of sticky who knows what so I had to scrub that & I mean scrub! There’s gaps all around the base so would be very draughty, the large back door is only fixed with one small lock & flimsy enough for a fox to lean into to get at the hens. The gaps on the nest box roofs mean water will most definitely get inside so will be covering all roofs in felt. There will be a lot of DIY-ing to get this to the standard of my other coop which is sturdy, solid & very well made, but it was an emergency foster situation where I needed another coop within a couple of days & unfortunately I chose this pile of junk. The only plus side is that delivery was quick. Note- I was shocked to see this had drastically gone up in price since I bought it just last week. It’s really not worth much more than £50 & that’s a stretch, I honestly wouldn’t recommend this to anyone, save a bit more & buy a better quality higher priced one, I wish I hadn’t of needed this so desperately at the time, otherwise I’d have sent it back for a full refund.
