Celtic Tara Harp
The harp includes an instruction book on tuning and a tuning key and replacement strings. The harp itself is lovely. I found it easy to tune by ear and the first song Eva could start to play was Hark the Herald Angels Sing. Glory to the Newborn King! Thanks.

Nice looking / sounding instrument
This is generally quite a nicely finished instrument, with hand-carved sides and a silk varnish finish. It is marked 'made in Pakistan'. Mine's got a small dink/dimple next to the sound hole (like someone dropped a tool on it), which is a shame but mostly people do not see the sound hole side.It comes with a tuning key and some basic instructions on how to tune it, but you'll need a tuner or a piano to tune all the strings correctly. It's nylon strung and sounds nice. There are a few spare strings included in the package. As this has no ability to play sharps and flats there is of course a limit to the kinds of melodies that you can play. This came triple-boxed (yes triple) from Amazon, so there was no danger of damage in transit.

The harp shown was not the one we recieved!
We contacted the seller (Wayfair) and they did give us a small credit- we found the one we actually got listed under its correct name (Roosebeck Baby Harp)for quite a bit less. The harp we got is quite nice but we felt misled by the photo and discription- when you are selling online these should be reliable if you want buyers to trust you in the future! So Buyer beware

Beautifully made
This is a really beautiful softwood harp with some nice intricate Celtic carvings. It holds nicely and has beautiful tone and I have found it fairly easy to play (never played one before but I do play a number of instruments). The harp comes with a booklet detailing scales and how to tune to the piano - there is a tuning key supplied and extra strings as well . I like the fact that i can just pick it up and play at ease - looks great on top of the bookcase as well.
