Bought the "Camouflage" color and it's perfect for fall / winter foliage here in the mid-west in my opinion. In the summer you'll want to sit in some more dry appearing brush or ground level foliage. It just need a little more green, but it comes close. Has a nylon feel to it so it'll be more durable than the cheap felt ones. Dries quickly if you get it wet. I'm kind of a larger guy and it cloaks me well when I take a knee or sit on the ground. The tail of this poncho ride about midcalf just below the knee while standing, so I'm not tripping all over it when I'm up walking around. Edges are unhemmed. Overall I'm satisfied and would recommend. Hope this helps someone.

We bought this a couple of years ago for my son's Halloween costume. He used it twice for Halloween and then for an evening of flash light tag with a group of friends over the summer. It is light weight and roomy for a teenager or adult. It is a loose fitting sheer camo poncho. I washed it in a laundry pouch made for delicate fabrics after each use, then hung it up to dry. It would probably have been fine in a newer washing machine, but we have a very old washing machine that can be a bit rough with some fabrics so I didn't want to risk it. Definitely, something we will hold onto for future uses. The first year he used it, it draped clear to his ankles, but he's grown to 5'4" now. This past year it fell above his ankles but below the knees. It still provided great coverage for the costume and night tag.

This poncho is much higher quality than I had anticipated based on some of the reviews and the low price. The materials are good as are the seams including the v-neck buttons and head cover. I do bird photography in Texas so it does make make it a bit uncomfortable if the temps are about 80 degrees; however, I doubt you'll feel the difference when the temp drops below that. I am seriously considering buying another to drape over my tripod. My only hesitation is I would love for it to be a tad bit longer (as it comes down to roughly my knees when standing). I would also love if if they made a poncho that included sleeves as my bare arms stick out and break cover. Otherwise it's perfect for my needs and WAY less than buying dedicated head to toe camo outfit. Also, I can tuck it away in my backpack so I don't look like a dork walking to and from the trailhead.

I got this to wear in my kayak when photographing birds. I should work well. but I won't use it until next spring.

This thing is super fun to play with the kids on hikes. I bust it out and go full forest ninja. It packs down really small I stuff it in my water bottle holder on my pack.“Things To Note”-It’s made of really thin material snags easy.- It’s thin!!!- the netting material it’s made from to let’s wind write threw.- won’t be able to crawl threw bushes or anything like that.- Not a hard use peace of gear.Other than those things this works good I’ve used mine to stash gear on adventures, shade on said adventures. It does come in handy every once and a while.

Great solution for wild bird photography. Easily packable, breathable and well made. I slip the lens through the hood cutout and any human shape disappears. Similar items sell for more than $150. A must have for serious wildlife photography.
