Affordable anamorphic lens
These lenses from Sirui are a great value for the money, and are solidly built. Image quality is terrific and they are quite sharp.I’m using a Sony a6500 camera body. The only weird thing I noticed is that if I manually set the color balance to daylight, the images seem to be extremely yellow. The 24 or 50 mm anamorphic don’t have this problem, but the 75 mm did. It’s so strange because looking visually through the lens, there’s absolutely no color tent or bias between all three of them. It might just be a thing with my camera. But placing the camera into auto white balance mode completely eliminated the problem. I suspect it might be just a weird anomaly with the camera software. I haven’t heard of anybody else having this problem, but it was easily correctable by just switching to the automatic white balance mode.

Nice quality
So far I’m really liking the lens quality and that “home” movie feel like you see in a Hallmark movieThe construction is great… I’m guessing it’s a steel body… does have some “weight” to it for a prime lens.I’m looking forward to buy the 50mm etc.

Quality lens.
For those that know this brand, they know this is an inexpensive, yet quality product that produces results that were unheard of at this price point. This was the last lens I needed to complete my set and now everything can have that same look across the board.

Crisp picture
In compare to another anamorphic lens I own, which doesn't gives sharpness on the edges, the Sirui is clear winner, super sharp picture from size to side, there no need to correct the image perspective, the only thing have to shrink/enlarge the image by 1.33 so it has the right anamorphic 2.4:1 format. The lens is manual focus, which can be challenging for dynamic video scenes, but after all, it's worth it, the quality of the video, and overall look is really cinematic. The price is another bonus when compare to competitors anamorphic lenses. The lens is on the heavier side, I have another Canon lens which is 200m, and.. it's way lighter about 230 grams, the lens is same length and width but is lighter built, while Sirui lens is slightly over 800 grams, so instead of holding camera, I'm holding the lens now..Pros:Sharp image, from edge to edgeNo distortion, or at least no visual distortionGreat material and overall qualityCons:On heavy side
