Accurate and easy to use
My husband buys and sells cars and has a small scanner that he usually keeps in his car but he ended up buying a few cars that had some engine and transmission problems so I invested in a more robust scanner that also did engine, transmission, abs brakes and airbag system. I got tired of seeing him loose money with investing in cars and then have to spend all this money to repair when it could of been avoided in the first place. So I bought this one and it has been great!!! It’s faster ALOT more functions and pretty simple to use. It’s pretty much plug and play. The directions are pretty clear and easy to understand, so you know where to go and how to read the scanner. As I mentioned It diagnoses the 4 key main components of the car engine, transmission, abs & airbag system which is awesome because it’s a big money saver and helps him to understand if it’s worth the buy. He went to buy a few cars and quickly was able to see what was wrong with the car before buying. So right there it paid for itself. Your able to reset the codes after you have performed maintenance on the cars. It’s has an auto vin scan feature to tell you about the history of the car. The battery life is GREAT!! You get about 15 hours use on one charge. Over all this was a great buy! It’s paid for itself 10x’s over from the money we have saved. I would definitely recommend

An advanced affordable scanner
This scanner is great for a DIY weekend warrior and a mechanic who is looking for something affordable. This scanner supports many advance features, is compatible with a lot of vehicles makes, models, and OBD protocols and is easy to use.You have your basic OBDII functions but it can also scan and clear codes for ABS and Airbag systems. It's essentially an android tablet with a specialized custom Android OS to interface with OBDII.The screen I believe is 5" and seems to be glass rather then plastic which is a plus. It's touch only with no physical buttons except for a recessed pin reset button. So this could be an issue if the digitizer that is the part of the screen that recognizes touch was ever to mess up.Otherwise you can easily set it up to a 2.4Ghz wifi network to keep its programs updated as well as the system firmware as well as access the store for even more advanced features. The CS4 gives you four advanced features found on new cars and trucks as lifetime programs. So you can clear the oil warning after changing oil for instance or reset your TPMS. For other features such as ABS Bleeding as example, you have to use the store and pay 29.95 for it and it's only for a year subscription. So after a year, you have to pay up again. This is on par with other scanners though. Though note that each advanced feature you may need that isn't part of the main four given, is 29.95 a year.. Each.If you are a mechanic, that wouldn't be much of an issue with the ROI from using it more often. DIY though, its kind of a bummer. For me my Chevy Blazer is a 2001 so I really don't need the more advanced features and note that not all features will work with every make and model so you have to check first. The store itself is easy to navigate and look up the different programs to add for purchase has has a review section for each. A glaring issue I find though is there isn't much info about each one and of any known compatible makes and models. You'll actually find some folks saying how they paid for the feature and find it didn't work for them. So keep that in mind.Though the scanner itself though for what it has already is great and was able to find a few codes relating to my dreaded P0300 issue and found that my ABS module is having an issue (common for my vehicle) and that my airbag system is perfectly fine. You can also view live data as well as freeze frame data and customize exactly what you want to look at. So for me I set it up to show me live data for all cylinders and their history. I found that cylinder 3 and 6 are misfiring with high counts. I can then make a report of it and save it as a pdf or email the report to myself or if you're a professional mechanic can send to your customer's email. On the scanner itself on top under a dust cover you'll find a usb-c connector (a usb-c cable is included) and a micro SD card slot. Now for the USB C connector you can use the included cable to connect the scanner to your PC or laptop to get any files from it. The micro SD card slot though I've found it not to be working or at least not with the 64GB card I tried with it. I inserted it and nothing popped up as if it recognized it and going into the file manager only shows internal memory and no external SD card memory. This could be an issue with the slot itself or simply its picky about which micro SD card it'll take. But is something to be thoughtful if you plan to use sdcard to move files. Another glaring issue I find though is while the box it comes in is quite nice, it's also your case. There is no included soft or hard case which for a scanner that is going to possibly be in a shop or heck even at home, I feel a case is more than necessary for a device such as this. In a shop, that box alone isn't going to last.So other than a couple pitfalls that I've found, as an advanced Scanner to help me diagnose issues beyond just OBDII such as ABS, it does the job perfectly in my opinion.Oh also I forgot to mention that in the store they have a points system. You can "check in" every day through the store while connected to wifi and for every 3rd day you get 1 point. You automatically get 5 points. Each point acts as 1usd. So remember that subscription price of 29.95 for each advanced program? That means right off the bat you can save 5 usd off the price or if you saved up 30 points, you should be able to technically get the year subscription for the selected feature at no extra cost. You don't have to hook up the scanner to a vehicle either just to power it on and check on every day for the points. Simply connect the Usb-c cable to a USB power adapter like the one that comes with your phone and it'll power up with it.So overall I would suggest this scanner. It would make an excellent gift for a DIY weekend warrior or a mechanic friend or family member who could use one.

Great scanner with more tools than others for the money
I have used this scanner multiple times. It has more tools than I thought when I bought it. The TPMS tool is especially helpful since others charge more for this feature. In fact, it has more features and settings than I would normally use in my day to day operations. The free updates are awesome as well. Only thing it lacks, and it doesn't matter a whole lot, is it didn't come with any kind of case other than the box it's shipped in. I wouldn't have minded paying a few extra dollars for a form fitted plastic case. Either way I just used a cheap screen protector from Amazon to protect the screen and it's good to go. I'd absolutely buy from this seller again in the future.

Not really good instructions on how to use
Its light . It did show up early. But instructions on start up are something to be worked on. How to use it is not used.

It did not work.
I used it to relearn toms for a 2008 Toyota sienna. I have all the tpms I'd number, followed all instructions, and put in all I'd codes within 5 minutes but did not do the job. The tpms light is still there. So I have to return this item.

Awesome Comprehensive Scanner
Know before buying, you have to be familiar with this type of product if you plan on using it frequently. One other reviewer gave it a poor rating, simply because it was too complicated for them. It's clearly not a $30 OBD II scanner that just cranks out a basic check engine light error code for you to look up. It's like someone ordering an iPhone for their three year old, instead of a toy phone, and then complaining that their toddler couldn't figure out how to use it. We use this for a variety of vehicles on our land. Fantastic replacement for the previous model we were using, which was pretty buggy. There's a bit of a learning curve to it, but is truly helpful once you get it down.

Obd2 car scanner
The media could not be loaded. So easy to update info on cars available. As soon as you connect to the car it powers up. We ran health report on audi tt and systems. Found same errors as ones mechanic ran. Very happy with features and outcome. Good Value for the money.

Great scanner
Great scanner ,easy to use ,with wi-fi connection it leads you to code references and fixes on you tube and web browser ,i had a intermitant problem ,Subaru impreza wrx premium code PO 340 ,cam sensor bank 1 ,not knowing wich side was bank 1( passenger side it was ( lol) led me to how to fix it in no time ,now you have to use your judgement when looking at the video 's because not all of them are right, especially the first one i looked at ,where he changed the crank sensor ,then the driver side cam sensor wich was bank 2 ,a little bit of searching ,and a little bit of common sense will make repairing your car a breezeThumbs up for this scanner so far ,i will write more reviews as i use it ,stay in touch

Works good!
Bought this for our son. He said, "I like the scanner. It took a little time figuring out how it works but now I know it's easy to use and does everything I need it to.

Useless, even cannot compare with $30 phone contact obd
It can only read and can not edit code. And it can not find my iPhone wifi hotspot, so I didn’t use the wifi function. My older blue/wifi $30 obd plug is better than this one, at least I can edit and cancel the engine light and code.

No memory
This product would work a lot better if it had a little more memory, I tried installing a memory card but it wouldn’t store any information on it so i’m not sure why it had a memory card slot. Wasn’t the best scanner on the market for the value
