Excellent cover
I've tried various covers for my RM2 and this is (so far) perfect. The outer material is similar to the original Remarkable slip case and inside it is suede like. The tablet is held in by magnets on the left side and it feels very secure, you can't shake it out but it does pull out very easily if you want to remove it. I was concerned that the magnets would affect the screen as with other cases I've tried but as far as I can tell there is no problem. The case is very slim so doesn't bulk up the tablet by more than about 5mm when closed. The front and back are also very stiff which helps to protect the RM2, I'm always very careful handling the tablet incase I put undue pressure on it and crack the screen but this case should prevent any flex. The pen is also held more securely than when just stuck to the side of the RM2 as the case overlaps the pen by a couple of mm protecting it somewhat. Overall I'm delighted with it and it represents excellent value for money compared to the original Remarkable case.

Has positively transformed my experience of the ReMarkable2
I had used the ReMarkable2 for a couple of years, with the standard stylus, and was generally happy with it. Then the stylus, which attaches magnetically, got lost in transit somewhere. I went to order a new stylus from ReMarkable and was shocked by the price (£119), especially when they then added £19 "for delivery in 2-7 days".After much searching on Amazon and looking at various cheap styluses with mixed reviews, and none of them were magnetic like the original stylus, I almost gave up and almost bought the "real" stylus. Just before I did, I started looking at covers too, they were also expensive. So I looked on Amazon, and I found this cover. As it happens, it had a comprehensive recent review by someone called "Curious George" of this OLAIKE "Compatible with Remarkable 2" cover where the review said amongst other things that "The Jumbo Noris Pencil slips in and out easily after a bit of use.". I had been considering the Jumbo Noris stylus but it was more expensive than most of the other styluses, and I was unsure whether the Staedtler brand really had any relevance to styluses. But all in, the OLAIKE case and Jumbo Noris pencil were going to cost £76 including next day delivery from Amazon. So I thought it was worth the risk.Thank you to whoever Curious George is for that review. I have to say the combination is brilliant. The STAEDTLER Noris Jumbo pencil is better than the original ReMarkable stylus, it writes really nicely, has a nice feel to it, and the eraser works well. All for £40. It fits the pen holder of the OLAIKE case perfectly. And the case holds the ReMarkable really well and feels like a really good quality cover. The two together have reinvigorated my usage of the ReMarkable - whereas ReMarkable's own price for either a stylus or cover almost consigned the device to the shelves along with old iPads etc.I highly recommend the combination.

Excellent and safe cover for ReMarkable2
I couldn't justify £150 for the proprietary premium leather cover, and after reading the reviews for the Olaike case, I thought I'd take the must less expensive risk (£34).It really is a quality item. The fit is perfect, and the magnets really do hold the tablet in place extremely well. The cover also has a very soft feel to it - akin to a brushed suede effect and it looks very elegant and stylish. Of course, there is an added weight to the tablet but it's not prohibitive and not a deal breaker. There is no holder for the stylus/pen which, personally, I prefer not to have as it would add a small degree of bulk to the item. The pen sticks firmly to the right-hand side of the tablet as it does without the cover. Also, access to the sleep/start button and the USB-C port is not affected at all. Finally, delivery was very speedy. All in all, it's a very nice protective cover at less than 25% of the cost of the premium leather cover (of course, this cover is not leather), and is highly recommended as an affordable alternative.

A nice cover.
Works well and has a nice feel to the outside. The magnets hold the remarkable in place very firmly. The only issue is that the design does make the remarkable seem a lot wider than it really is which could be an issue for fitting it in a bag, but that the compromise for storing the pen securely at the side as it does.

Beautiful case - shows off reMarkable well
This case is slim, fairly lightweight (271 grams), feels very nice in the hand and looks good. It shows off the design of the reMarkable well and it is very easy to remove and replace the device. At less than a a third of the price of the manufacturers case, although still a bit pricey, it is good value. The magnetic holder attaches to the spine. The magnetic tabs for holding it closed also work well. The Jumbo Noris Pencil slips in and out easily after a bit of use. Once the cover is closed it provides good protection for the device and also ensures the pencil can't slip out. All in all a very well designed case - very pleased with my purchase.

Great alternative to the official case
The materials are a little cheap, but it seems sufficiently sturdy and makes me less nervous about throwing my remarkable into my backpack. The fit is 100% and holds the tablet well with the magnets, with room to hold the pen in the normal place tooFor value for money, this is great; the only reason I've given 4* for sturdiness is that the edge finish could be better - it feels a little rough and 4* for 'easy to hold' that, being left-handed, it makes it a little more clumsy; but that's really a flaw in the design of the remarkable 2 as it's built for right-handers. It would be simple to add an upside-down orientation in software which would solve this but remarkable haven't done that. :/
