Light is exactly as described. Works perfectly. Brighter than I expected. I didn't know it came with the yellow glasses so that's a plus too!

Sturdy and bright
I bought the UV Monster light to track down some leaks in the engine compartment of a Jeep. The light worked perfectly to locate the leaks. It is made of sturdy metal and is bright enough that the garage did not have to be completely dark to use it.

Not as Powerful as I Expected
I have an AC leak on my 2010 Chrysler Minivan. I had to get this light with dye in the AC system to find the leak. I'm pretty sure it the rear core. Anyway, it seems fairly weak for so many LEDs. Using it in the garage during the day is a challenge. It's definitely not as strong at the black lights you'd see at Spencer Gifts (sorry I'm older). Your kids will be disappointed if they want to see their white sneakers glow in the dark. I haven't been able to find the leak with this light. I'll have to do it at nighttime with the lights out. 😕

Everything works as expected, but bring your own batteries.
The dye with this kit glows VERY well with the UV light from the flashlight. You don't need the yellow glasses to see the glow but I hear it's supposed to be better for your eyes to wear them.The flashlight is machined aluminum and feels very solid. It also puts out plenty of UV light which lights us the dye from several feet away with ease. It's not like being a club or anything but it's plenty bright for what it's designed to do.The glasses look decent enough and fit comfortably but they're definitely on the cheap side. On the pair I received one of the arms is more than a few degrees out of alignment with the other arm. Not a big deal though - just something to mention in case it's a big deal for you.Unit takes three AA batteries if memory serves and, like just about everything else, aren't included.
