Sadowsky Onboard Bass Preamp (4-Knob System)

Description

The Sadowsky Onboard Bass Preamp (4-Knob System) is a pre-wired system that offers the same control options and the legendary active preamp as all Sadowsky bass. The preamp is designed for installation in most J style bass with a metal control plate. For newer active models in the J style with a side output socket and a battery compartment, no modifications are usually required. For passive instruments, the only modification required is to lay the output jack to the side of the instrument and create space for a battery. The control options are: Volume - Pan - VTC (Vintage Tone Control) - Treble / Bass. The bass and treble controls only boost - if you turn the controls completely to the left you get a linear frequency response. The VTC controller is passive, the maximum setting is a flat EQ. The further you turn the controller back, the stronger the treble in the signal will be dampened. The preamp can be mounted either with the control plate or by an electronic compartment.
