P Shape Rubber Weather Seal Hollow Universal Car Door Strip Weatherstrip 8M 26FT

After getting body work done my driver's side door had developed a whistle while traveling. This will seal the door better and stop the whistling.

This is decent enough, but the angle, and being very soft made it where the glue side had to be stuck to the paint. On my other trim, it had been glue to the under side of the lip of the rear windshield, and it forced the lip to press against the paint without the adhesive.It's fine, and looks okay, but will require replacement the next time I mess with paint, rather than prying up and taping.

The weather-strip measured exact which was actually surprising, but the foam rubber was no where near dense enough to hold tight against the door when the door is closed. a stiff breeze was able to push the seaal away from the door and allow air thru. I ultimately purchased the factory seal, unable to find a seal stiff enough to prevent this. if your door has a small gap such as on a Honda car, this seal will likely work. But for my application Chevrolet S-10, it did not.

Adhesive was terrible. Within 2 hours it was peeling off. Used my own adhesive and it works great!

The product seems like it's good quality. However, like others have reported it is rolled in a fashion that ripples the adhesive protective plastic rendering the adhesive worthless. I gave it a try and applied it to a properly prepared surface. It did not adhere properly. If your product looks like the one in my pic, return it. I'll be returning what I did not use for a refund.

Way, way better than the thin, not very flexible windshield cowling weather stripping on my Grand Caravan. I had water leaking through the cowling behind my glovebox and onto my passenger side rug. The original weather stripping was probably shot from age but was also too short. It didn’t reach the complete width of the windshield. I cut the new weather stripping to length ( the full width of the windshield) and added a bead of clear silicone to hold it in place. Situation solved!!

Soft material so be careful when installing. Clean surfaces well before trying to adhere.
