This halter/leash has given us freedom I never thought possible. I care for a severely autistic 7 year old little boy. He is a runner! (Too fast for this ole lady). When outside of the house, I literally have to hold his hand...100% of the time....even from the car to the house. No fun for him or me! In fact, it puts a great deal of stress on me that he might accidentally get loose. (He has!). But good news!This halter system has changed our lives...literally! "No joke"!!Purchasing it at such a fair and affordable price didn't break the bank! Besides, what price can you put on the safety of a child?Searching for halters I was disappointed to find others are mostly geared for toddlers, not larger kids.Then I happened upon this halter, and it is perfect! My little fellow now has freedom and comfort to run, flap, pull, and tug safely.The leash is very long when extended so I have to watch carefully that when he's running far ahead of me he doesn't make it to the curb and street before I do. I control the length by holding the tether at appropriate distances between him and me. It would be great if it were retractable like dog leashes to control the distance and length.This halter is constructed well. Sturdy and durable. Easy to put on ( if he stands still 🤗 ), adjusts perfectly for his size and he still has room to grow. Soft little pads keep the straps from rubbing on his shoulders!In the car seat or other safe areas I simply disconnect the leash without having to remove the halter. Then just snap it back on when we are ready to go.The coiled leash is awesome. The cord is strong and reinforced on the inside! No way is he going to chew through it, twist, or pull to break it!The strap that attaches to my wrist is more comfortable than I expected and stays put!Best of all, my little guy loves the fun and freedom this halter gives him. For the first time ever, we've been able to go for a walk, go to a store, or do things without having to hold hands! We actually went to get snow cones near a busy intersection yesterday! The stand was located on a vacant lot so he had room to "play" without me being in fear for his safety! What a stress reliever for both of us!I keep using the word "freedom", but that is exactly what this system is!!! Freedom!

This product is life-changing. It gives the kids a little bit of freedom but you have all the control and the fact that it has a key that you have to unlock for them to be able to take it off. Game changer 100% guaranteed

I love that there are two options with this. My son has ASD so sometimes items like this can annoy him so it’s helpful to have option. I got this more for my daughter though and both the harness and wristlet work well. It’s padded and comfy and seems super reliable. I never thought I would be the person with my kid on a leash, but this brings so much peace to public outings

My 2 year old son is not as cooperative as his brother was at this age, so we wanted to try a harness. Otherwise, he stays contained in our Osprey pack a lot during family outings. It's a nice harness set, but my son acts even worse when given the opportunity to roam but tethered to us. I spend most of my time trying to keep the connecting rope thing from wrapping around his neck as he does alligator like death rolls on the ground 😑 Might be great for a more cooperative child who just tends to wander off ... not mine who gets down & tries to sprint!

Works great, grandson was able to be independent while I was able to stay in control. Got compliments from other people and they wanted to where I got it from

Very sturdy against my gigantic 2 year old who doesn't listen and likes to think he's grown enough to go off on his own. Ended up buying a second to keep in my husband's vehicle so we could have one no matter where we went. It must be comfortable, too, because my toddler will ask to put it on even when in the house! Overall, one of my favorite purchases for my toddler.
