Great gift, but smaller than it looks. It's a functional brass and leather scope, it takes a little getting used to to operate but works rather well for the price. The minimum focal distance is quite far and most people will think it doesn't work well if you look through a window screen or and anything closer than 50 feet or so. It has a nice simple leather case that looks kind of pathetic compared to the product, but still is beats a crappy little bag. It is a very nice spy glass for display and fun to use although it will show wear and tear rather quickly. All in all it was a much better quality than expected for the price.

I'm not sure why my husband bought this but I love it. We stand on our balcony and pretend we're pirates because why not? It actually works too: you can see far distances very clearly. It's sturdy and beautiful and brings us joy.

Purchased this as an anniversary gift for my husband. The quality of this is AMAZING! Everyone I have shown this too is blown away at how great this looks, feels and is!

Cool scope. Nice replica. The case is a bit cheesey but the scope makes up for it.

I got this telescope/spyglass as a present. I should not complain for something I got as a present. But I got it from my dear wife, for my birthday, who wanted me to enjoy wildlife better from our cabin's deck. She was so happy to handle me something that / supposedly / I will love.... I will love my wife forever. But not this crap thing called telescope/spyglass. It is useless. Do Not Buy!

This was such a nice telescope. Leather case, well made. looks cool, like an old telescope from pirates. Very nice.

There is something stuck to one of the interior lenses and it makes it hard to look through. I've tried to contact the seller but to no avail. A little frustrated with this product
