This two LP set is a great introduction for people who have never heard Slade's music and a cool trip down memory lane for fans (who will own all these tracks on different LPs). I never thought I'd buy a Slade LP in 2020, but this record gave me the opportunity. Slade dominated the UK hits chart in the early 70s, tried for several years to "crack" the US market and finally had a pair of late hits in the 80s, Run Runaway and My Oh My. In my opinion as a long time fan, Slade's music from 1969-1977 was the best of their career, ranging from very hard rock to Beatle-esque melodic pop. A great band that should have been HUGE in the US but never quite got there. This is a good place to start if you want a sampling.

If you dont have this album yet, we cant be friends. You need it. Dont question, just do it. I promise you ll thank me.

You probably heard these songs from quiet riot but these are the guys who wrote the songs and recorded them first

So this review is not for the music or the audio quality it’s the track listing.So the mp3 and cd versions that are 70% cheaper than the vinyl has all the greatest hits, this vinyl version has 10 songs most of which were not even huge hits, not sure why these 2 were chosen but it was a mistake.For double the price of the cd and more why not include a double vinyl?A very disappointed Slade fan that was looking forward to owning the big hits on vinyl.

A couple of good songs then a bunch of over produced 80's pop.

Nice pressing, with soooooo many great songs!! Mine came with a free mp3 download that includes a bunch of stuff not on the LP.

It's a great and fun album to own. Has all most all of their greatest songs. Delivered with great care. Always important to me for my records!
