Great sturdy product

I used SS straws before. They are not good with hot coffee, might cause mild burn on your lips, depends on how sensitive your skin is.These ones insulate the heat, my guess around 80%. They are thick. I dropped twice from 10 inches, they survived 100%. Glass has no leaching components compared to SS when used with alkaline and acidic liquids. . Very easy to see when it is needed to clean it. At least, you are sure that it is 100% glass (made in Germany). I heard that some manufacturers found a way to inject micro plastic particles into the glass to lower the cost 5 years ago.

Straws arrived quickly and in perfect condition - no chips or cracks. These glass straws are a fabulous alternative to other materials like silicone, metal, plastic or paper. There is no funky taste like metal, silicone or bamboo; they don't get slimy like silicone or plastic; and they don't collapse like paper or plastic. They are also wide enough to use for a frozen drink such as a smoothie or milkshake. They are dishwasher safe, but I like to clean them with the included round brush - it's quick and easy. I highly recommend!

I am torn on how to rate these. I think 4 stars is appropriate for the quality. I can’t seem to find anyone talking about how these are NOT 11 inches. I measured my current straws before ordering and then I checked these when they arrived. These are a solid 10.5”. I think I am going to reach out to Amazon about it. Otherwise, these are wonderful straws.

And the lenght makes them perfect for my cocktail glasses. Excellent quality from Halm as always. This is my third or fourth purchase of this brand, and I have never broken a single straw.

These glass straws have officially replaced all of the metal/plastic straws in our home. They are super easy to clean and are much nicer than the straws we used before. These 11 inch straws fit perfect in my large Tervis cups and I will be buying more from this company in different sizes. I 100% recommend these glass straws to anyone who is looking for a cleaner alternative to metal or plastic.

Nice quality but only measure 10.5 inches not 11 inches as listed so they had to be returned.
