Q: are the dimensions really ‎5.5 x 7 x 0.1 inches? That would be insanely large for a 12 string guitar, much less a uke.

This is a ukulele capo. The dimensions are nowhere near 5.5 x 7 ! I didn't even pay attention to this when I bought it, but you're right, they're wildly mistaken. I'd say more like 3" x 2". Works fine for ukuleles.

Q: Is this capo for flat or radiused fingerboards?

All ukulele's have flat fingerboards so it is flat.

Q: Other ukulele capos I have seen are also advertised as working for banjos. Does this capo work with a banjo?

I think so. I don't play banjo, but I would think it would work.
