This took literally 4 seconds to set up after reading the instructions. It paired with my iPad straight away and was ready to use. Totally impressed with this little gadget .

Worked straight out of the box, didn't need to read any instructions etc to set up with my android (pixel 4a). Was taking pics with it literally within seconds. I can definitely recommend this product.

As per the headline - not 100% of the time, but far more often than another more-expensive (Q25) one

pros:-uses 2032 batteries. same as most cycle devices like heart rate monitors. power meters, etc. this makes it easy to replace and no fussing about with another device with internal recharcheable batts which will undoubtely die and go to landfill.-on / off switch. combined with the 2032 batts this thing will practically never run out of battery.-simple pairing. no apps, no registration.-extremely light. 10gr inc battery-simple clicky button that gives tactile feedback-not blob shaped like others, it has some rounded corners, so it's much easier to grip hold and operate but still comfortable to handle.-led light-minimal, moslty cardboard packaging-very very cheap.cons:-no water resistance at all-cheaper feeling plastic-only function is volume up button which acts as shutter on camera app on ios. no way of altering its function.just the perfect thing. great value. i bought it to use for taking pictures during bike rides
