I thought it would be great for fermentation and pickling as it said on the ad, however, the only good thing about this is that it is glass. It definitely is not for fermenting foods since the lid starts rusting after the first use (it is not safe to get in contact with acids). The size is great and it does seal well to be honest; it would have been perfect if it didn't rust. So sad and annoying! I hope I can return this, it was a waste of money unfortunately.

Not 24oz in jars

These are knock offs and aren’t real Ball jars. That being said they work ok for storage but I wouldn’t recommend for canning.

These jars are perfect for my "Salad in a Jar" lunches. They keep my salads fresh for 7 days including a 1.5 hour commute. I wash the lids by hand and the jars in the dishwasher without any issues. The measurements on the side are really helpful too!

Very good product for fermenting. Perfect and prompt service from the seller. Really can’t fault the seller. Wish I could say the same for the delivery driver. Once again they lied and said handed to resident when no one home and left package on full view for all to see. They have a safe place register. No luck complained to Amazon so the seller needs to be aware incase they have issues with theft.
