Well Loved in Preschool
We’ve used these, going on two years now (3, 4, and five year olds). They are well loved! They’ve fallen and been thrown, and they’ve never broken. Not sure what happened in those other reviews. The magnet strength is just right for building- not too strong or weak. I wondered if I was paying too much for these, as there are other brands that are cheaper. The answer is “no”. These are worth it.

I love love love these and they really get played with a lot!
So my younger son has had early intervention and private therapy and these magnetic blocks are two thumbs up approved from professional therapists. The colors are great and the blocks combine in endless, creative ways to make all kinds of things. The boys have had them for over two years and still play with them. They are great!

Perfect for NumberBlocks
My 4 son loves to use these to create NumberBlock characters. I wish they still made the black, gray, and white set since we could use another set. I also wish they made them in the Peach color like the larger Numberblock characters. I know Hand2Mind makes NumberBlock using math links cubes but those are kind of a pain to put together and the magnetic aspect of these makes it so much easier for young hands. We've had some a couple of years now and have never had one open/break.

Great for Travel
I love how small and colorful they are. Both my 2 and 5 year old played with them for 20+ minutes at a time which is money well spent while traveling. Took away a star because I do wish the magnet was stronger to avoid blocks falling under airplane seats.

An oldish lady (young at heart) who got them for myself!
I’m 52 and got these as a relaxation tool and they’re working really well for me. As a creative individual (I’m a professional artist) I find myself drawn to colorful things so I got the transparent rainbow set. I’ve lived with anxiety (diagnosed as GAD and OCD) most of my life. When I feel short of breath, like a panic attack, looming I will take these out and give myself ordering tasks. I’ll rearrange the colors, stack them differently etc. This seems to help me so much more than self talks tasks and I think it’s because I’m a visual learner. The transparent blocks also have different patterns on the sides due to the internal structure so it provides another visual quality. They will also relax me when when I have racing thoughts and/or can’t concentrate.I felt a little silly ordering them for myself but I’m so grateful that I did.

Falls apart every time it hits the floor
The problem with this thing is that it's a TOY, and toys are dropped to the ground regularly. It's not strongly magnetic, therefore it often breaks up when held and when this stuff hit the ground, one of the cubes breaks apart. The cover opens up, and you have 8 small magnetic balls roaming around the house, which is definitely very dangerous if you have younger kids/pets around, and it's a problem finding all the parts of a broken cube (and nope, I wasn't able to find all 8 balls on the two cubes broken so far 10 minutes after opening the box.) I am not a returning guy and do plan to eat this mistake. But it's not even a magnetic toy, it's very weakly magnetic that don't hold up. Out of the many many toys (>100) we buy at Amazon, only one of two that I would not hesitate to return (or throw away.)

My 2 and 4 year old LOVE them
I’ve purchased 3 sets of these, add them to all the gift lists anyone asks for and will likely keep adding to them (my mom just purchased the “world” set for my 4 year olds upcoming birthday). These keep my 2 and 4 year old entertained for hours. They do also fight over them, so I would definitely say multiple sets are better.I have 4 kids and have been buying magnet toys since my 11 year old was 2. We have collections of tegu blocks, magformers, Magnatiles (Picasso brand) and now these. I thought Magnatiles were the best, but these are played with just as much as those now.
