Defective item?
Got a size M.I've wrapped a few steering wheels already using other brands. This is the first Aully Park wrap I've tried, but during installation, I had many holes rip all the way through while tightening the string. Mind you, it wasn't excessive force or anything. It was normal force applied to tighten the string as I'm lacing the wrap and the holes gave out. They're not all near the edge either, and yet, they tore through. And that's all within the first five inches or so during wrapping.I'm disappointed in this wrap. I've installed less expensive wraps (one was even $.85 cents, if you can believe it) and none of them ripped through like this one has. I was expecting more from a $12 leather wrap, with generally good reviews.Perhaps this one is severely defective.Maybe reconsider other wraps.

All things considered, I highly recommend it!
I used this wheel wrap/cover (I got the medium size which fit just right over the diameter of the steering wheel) in my 2016 Honda Civic and the results were pretty nice, see picture below.Only complaints that I had with it were:1) while installing is that for steering wheels with beefy or thick grip circumferences, the cover will not go all the way around2) and that they don't supply you with enough thread should you mess up horribly (like I did, but luckily I had JUST enough left over to finish it without needing to use the backup paracord I bought in case I ran out of the one they give you). However, it still looks pretty good even with a 1cm-ish gap and it is actually kind of nice as it allows the stitching to stand out more/makes the stitch pattern more broad. Another minor problem is that since it's a universal solution, for my steering wheel especially, the spokes made the leather warp when I stitched around them, but I solved this with double sided sticky pads to make those areas stay down (also found at hobby lobby with the paracord). Installation was super straightforward, just took some time, around 1.5 hrs for me. The more time you spend on it, the better your results will be.All in all though, the product is great! Just keep in mind that your steering wheel's grip circumference plays a big part in how it will fit, and don't expect it to fit perfectly around your steering wheel spokes cuz it wasn't designed specifically for your car.

patience, will give you a nice looking cover
Very nice material, looks good (i think). Was a little doubtful about whether it will come out Ok. i did perfect on one side but messed up on other (pics show how easy it is to miss loops). Patience is key. the sellers sent 2 long threads and two needles along with the cover, and instructions. couldnt ask for more at this price. I was thinking about $60.00 covers, but thought i did give it a shot. Should say I am 100% happy with product, not so much with my stitching skills. Works good for me and hope to do better jobs on my other cars.

Good quality, but takes some time if you want it doing right
The quality of leather is really good. It's soft and tough. The install instructions are fairly straight forward but doesn't have a clear diagram of how to thread the string. Fortunately people who have left reviews also took pictures. Between the pictures and the instructions I was able to figure it out.Once I went all the way around it looked pretty good but it didn't look complete. It looked like the pictures that people left in the reviews (picture 1 of mine). I thought to myself, it would look better to go all the way around again but go through the opposite thread so the "stitch" would look balanced and be tighter (picture 2 and 3 are the final product). I think it turned out amazing after going through it a second time, while never cutting the string until the end of the second go around.I would recommend doing it this way. I would also recommend starting on the edge of the "spoke" as referred to by the instructions so when you finish, the knot can be tucked away easier. Also, when doing it the second time, go behind the spoke if you went through the front the first time around. Great product and happy with the overall look after it was done.

For the price $.... satisfied with results
Finally put it on, has decent quality and feel.Friends asked me who I sent my steering to get done, YouTube will show you how to sow it to look professional, I got the blk with blk thread... very simple design that will work on thick steering wheels like a jetta after 2003. I had to buy a neoprene strip after realizing my steering wheel was thin for the cut on the wrap. DO NOT BUY NEOPRENE UNLESS YOU WANT IT SOFT... BUY A RUBBER STRIP FOR A FILLER if you have a thin steering wheel, RUBBER maintains a better positive feel under the wrap. I would buy again if needed, took me 2 - 2.5 hours to install.... I feel accomplished lolMeasure twice before ordering - chart in pics.Pros:Decent real leatherVideos available to helpVisual end product is satisfyingComes with a good kit for newbiesImproved my tattered steering feel and lookPriceCons:No instructions (YouTube solved)Wish they had vehicle specific cutsRequires Patience and lack of interruptionTrial and error depending on your skill level.Recommended
