I really want to give this item a 3 star, however, the gift recipient (a 10 year old girl) would get angry at me and demand a 5 star review. Therefore, a 4 star it is.I have 2 main gripes with this item. First, the lid does not fit properly, and rocks back and forth. It arrived only a few days before her birthday, and I had no time to return it. I would not have given this trinket box to anyone else, however, with this defect. Secondly, it had a strong chemical smell as I took it outside of the box. The smell has dissipated sense being out of the box, but you can still smell it up close.On the flip side, my daughter loves it and has put all her dragon jewelry in it. Its a good size and is detailed and painted nicely. It was worth the price of $15.21 that I paid for it, but I would not pay any more than that, definitely not the list price of $60.99. It is nowhere near worth that price!I could recommend it if you love dragons, but if you want to order it as a gift, order it early so you can inspect it for flaws and let it air out. As it arrived at my house, I would have been to embarrassed to give it as a gift.

The dimensions listed are 9x6.5x7 inches. Actual dimensions are 7x4.5x5.5 inches.They also sprayed the box heavily with the most awful smelling perfume... I have to rush to return it to getthe smell out of my house!
