Fabulous Placemat & Bowl in One, Ideal Gift, Great Design, Highly Recommended
Having a large family and a young grandchild, I am always on the lookout for items that would be suitable for them to use, so when I spotted this All in One Placemat and Bowl available via the Vine Program, I ordered it immediately as it was the type of product that I wish had been around when my own children were tiny. I chose the azure colour. The product arrives in a beautiful plastic and cardboard box that is really smart and would make it an ideal gift, it really is beautifully presented and packaged. Upon removing it from the packaging it is immediately apparent that it is a high quality item that has had attention to detail and is extremely well made. The Happy Bowl, as it is called, is an all in one placemat and built in bowl that literally auctions to the table which means that the days of bowls being tipped over or thrown are in the past. It has a portion size of 12 ounces which os perfect for babies and young children and the bowl is ideal for all types of food from baby rice, through to cereal, pasta, soup etc.The bowl is made from high quality silicone that is free from phthalates, BPA, BPS, PVC and latex making it suitable for al, plus it is also oven and microwave safe and you can serve food both warm or cold in the bowl. It is designed for children from 24 months and up, however it can easily be used by younger children with parents help and supervision as it effectively stops any accidents from occurring by the child catching its hand on the bowl when you are feeding her or him.It is approximately 10” by 9” with a height of 1.5” and with the self seal technology it not only auctions to a table, but will also suction onto a high chair tray as wellIt is ideal for teaching a child to self feed as well as helping to develop fine motor skills. You can stack up to 4 mats to carry them and they are not only easy to clean either in warm soapy water, but it is also dishwasher safe too. Plus you can stack plates in together to store in the cupboard. The plates are built to last as silicone is bendable and flexible, plus it doesn’t fade, corrode or deteriorate so it will easily last your child’s lifetime and then be able to be passed on to a sibling or another child.Overall this is an absolutely superb product that at £17.49 (price at time of review) is excellent value for money and makes an ideal gift, plus the fact that it comes in a wide array of colours means there’s a colour to suit your child. I am happy to give this its thoroughly deserved 5 stars and to highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic bowl for a young child that prevents accidents caused by accidental tipping or spilling of contents.I hope that this review has been helpful to you in deciding whether this is the right product for you.

I suppose it's only a matter of time before they discover the secret. 😀
To be honest, I never thought I needed a dish like this, nor did I imagine that such a thing existed. Think with me, a plate of food that sticks to the table by itself so that the babies don't lift it up. Exactly, hard to imagine in real life. When I saw it I thought it would be something interesting to see with my own eyes. In fact this baby dish does stick itself to the table or any smooth and flat surfaces, if you try to remove it from the center you will find it to be a very difficult task, but if you remove it from one of the corners you can remove it without any effort. I suppose it's only a matter of time before they discover the secret. 😀 Until then, let's enjoy and keep the table and the house clean.Every day clean is a blessing.

Good quality but expensive
Very nice, very good quality. The suction power is good but not excellent. My 2 years old could easily move it if he wanted to. He knew how to do it.I have washed it in the dishwasher a few times and so far nothing has happened. The cycle cleaned it very well and hasn't ruined it at all.The capacity of the bowl is not massive but for small recipes it is good. My son loves a good portion of pasta and for that is not good as it would not fit in it but for example when I give him meat in small pieces or fruit or small cubes of cucumbers etc, it is good. The price is quite high. To be honest it depends how much use you make of it. I easily use the normal plates for my son that cost much less therefore for me it's not worth but it may be for you.

Nice bowl but grandchild quickly learned how to unstick it
It’s a great idea to have a bowl and placemat combined, especially if it suctions to the table or high chair. It’s incredibly easy to use, and goes in the dishwasher for ease of cleaning. We got this for our grandson for when he is here, and although it sticks tight to shiny surfaces, it doesn't stick so well to his high chair tray. He learned quite quickly that he only has to pick it up by the corner for any suction to be released and the bowl to be waved in the air, sending any food that was in the bowl in all directions. This bowl arrived in an attractive box, which would make it an ideal present. The £17.49 price is a little expensive and I’m not sure that parents would buy it at that cost.

Helps to protect the table, but the bowl is tiny
Although this suction plate and mat is geared towards babies and toddlers, I ordered this plate for my little brother who has Autism and tends to smear his food all over the table because he likes to feel the textures of food as sensory stimulation. I’m hoping that the inclusion of the mat will prevent most of the food from getting on the table and he’ll leave his food on the plate/mat. Not only can this plate be used for food, it can also be used for play items that can be a little messy like play dough or sand. It is quite pricey, but I think it will come in handy to protect the table. I’d rate it 3.5 stars.
