It’s a great product
I had the spongy one, but it unglued and I needed a new one ASAP. This one did the job. It was easy to install and it looks great.

Excellent alternative to stock!
This is a perfect way to eliminate the factory padded cover since they notoriously peel away. The fit is seamless around all of the edges. This is not padded which eliminates any potential peeling from heat breakdown of any adhesive like the factory cover. My wife and I both agree this replacement actually feels better and will be easier to clean. Unfortunately my elbow always lands between this cover and the hinged cover so the padded factory gave no benefit to my elbow. Out with that worthless factory cover and in with this permanent replacement. Watch YouTube videos for instructions to remove the factory plastic piece which is either drilling holes through the plastic you'll remove or else pry corners to break it out which is what I chose to do. Very well molded replacement!

I liked that it is a hard plastic unlike the one it originally came with so it will last longer and way easier to clean

This is not the foam OEM pad
The pad is not OEM replacement. It is a hard composite matter. It looks good and seems very durable. Mine arrived with one underside tab already broken but doubt it will be a problem. Mounting was easy AFTER taking off the OEM lower plastic frame that remained on the console (from the broken OEM pad). Of course, this is of no fault of the Newace company. I would buy again if needed.

Looks new.
I rather the plastic to the foam. You will destroy the old one removing it, but it is damaged anyway. when installing the new one I had to hit it pretty hard with my hand to make it clip in. I'm happy with it. The console looks new again.

Not what the part is
This part is supposed to be the same as the one that is in the vehicle. It is the same size and dimensions but the part is a hard plastic and not cushioned like the OEM one
