Excellent quality!
Had some problems with the shipping at first. But Gedore sent another wrench right away. The product is top notch! I love German tools. If you have used them, I highly suggest them.

Very Nice but Flawed
The Gedore 12" chrome-plated with 2C-handle adjustable spanner has a lot to commend. I love the feel of this tool in my hand. In other words, I like its ergonomics. This is one of those tools that makes you want to find more and more uses for it. I also like the operation of the adjustable jaw. My overall opinion is very high, so it makes me a little sad to take off one star for what I consider to be two deficiencies.It's very hard to read the scale that shows how far the adjustable jaw is open, and I use that feature a lot. If you call up Channellock adjustable wrenches for comparison purposes, you will see how distinct the scales are on their products.Second, if you look at the fifth picture down for this particular spanner, you can see that the scale goes up to 36mm. I have a 10" Craftsman Professional adjustable wrench at home that is 2 full inches shorter in overall length, but its scale goes up to 35mm. So, I don't think that the jaws on this particular Gedore model open especially wide for its extra size.I'm looking forward to having this tool in my collection, and I'm not sending it back. I have a lot of Gedore and Gedore Red tools because I like their company. That said, when it comes time to replace the smaller size adjustable wrenches (6", 8", 10") in my collection, this purchasing experience will not result in more repeat purchases of Gedore adjustable spanners for the two reasons given, despite the fact that I like the product overall.
