Moroso63766 Universal Expansion Tank, Silver

I was looking for a simple compact expansion tank/reservoir for an air-water intercooler system, with 1/2" NPT bungs. This was the closest I could find that fit my needs; luckily the 3/8" bung has plenty of thickness to drill out larger and tap to 1/2" NPT. The tank itself seems to be very well-made. The welds are clean, and the mounting tabs, bungs, and filler neck are all sturdy and clean with no rough burrs or anything that you might expect on ebay parts.I'd rate this 5 stars, except for 2 small things:1) It shipped with the decal pre-applied. Undoubtedly it's going to eventually look like crap after being exposed to engine heat and the elements, and it adds an extra bit of prep for anyone who might want to paint the tank.2) For the money, it would be nice if it came with a matching filler cap... oh well.

Aluminum is anodized, fits like it should. Had to weld some AN bungs on it for custom setup, anodize didn’t help the process.

great deal and product

I used this as a coolant expansion tank on an impala as. It works well but is not quite big enough. The welds on this tank are top quality. The build quality is much better than I expected.
