Impressive Re-usable Molding Putty (6 oz (168 g))

I did a lot of research and testing before I arrived at ComposiMold as the best material to mold objects that have sensitive surfaces. (old vintage toys) The material is so easy to use over and over again. I hate making multiple part plaster molds! It is so time consuming and messy and if it doesn't turn out right, a waste of time. And the heat of the plaster is not acceptable with certain objects. As a sculptor, I appreciate the ability to take multiple molds with this putty, casting and then reusing it again on another part of the object in a short period of time. Using ComposiMold means I can build my sculptures with the same impromptus and improvisation of working in paints or drawing.

I wouldn't necessarily recommend this product. It may be useful in other ways than I wanted, but it's kinda hard to work with and leaves a weird residue you can't clean off on whatever you use it on. Great with details, just hard to work with and leaves a mess on workspace.

I wanted to find another way to make molds of ceramic pieces without using Plaster of Paris. I decided to use ComposiMold Putty to make 12 copies of a figurine. The mold gave me accurate copies, however after producing 3 copies, the mold started to stretch out so I had to remake the mold after every 3 copies. I also recommend putting the mold in the freezer before each use. The copies came out even more accurate by using the frozen mold. Overall I am very pleased with the results I got.

Great mold making material and best of all it is reusable. Takes good impressions and if placed in hot water or a microwave for 40 seconds to a minute, then it will take a new impression.

The product worked exactly how it was described.

I was moving my Grandmother's 80yr old antique mirror (38" x 40") and it slipped. I had no idea how I was going to repair it. I researched and researched pinterest and youtube and came across Composimold instant putty mold. What a great product!!! The east of use. The fact that you can reheat and redo the mold if you do not like the outcome was a great feature since I was a first timer at this. I called Composimold 2x for advise and they actually answered the phone. They were so helpful and gave great input. I also purchased from Composimold their white casting mold resin. I highly recommend this product and this company. My finished product is not perfect but it gives my 80yr old mirror another life and another story.

Simply was not enough silicone more for $30.
