Does a great job repairing hoses.
I used this tool in conjuction with the hardware to repair pneumatic hoses. This thing's going to save me lots of time and money in the long run. For me, it's well worth the investment. It would be best to buy several ring sizes, since hose diameters vary slightly and that DOES matter.

Works As Advertised
I had no problems with the crimper or the ferrules. I thought the smaller ferrules would be too small, but they were the ones I used. I would suggest that you make sure you that the barbed fitting will pass through the crimper when the jaws are open. If you have another fitting/bushing on the threaded end of the barb, they won't fit through the open jaws.
