My dad and brother were military so I grew up using these blankets for random stuff. They’re great, versatile, perfect for on the sidelines of a sports field, as a picnic blanket, a camping blanket, an emergency blanket in the car and sleepovers…. They stuff up compact in the included bag and are warm but ultra light. Perfect for backpacking…. They’re expensive tho. In my mind, unnecessarily so, but they’re good quality and will last for years so using girl math, still worth it. My husband wasn’t so keen on the price tho. They’re quick drying tho and a genuinely good quality military blanket. My son uses his for cadets, and FTU’s, and we always have one in the car. It even gets used as a tarp. Ties all around mean it can be made into just about anything, even a pillow or a sleeping bag.

It’s a woobie! Brand new, not like the issued ones that were worn out after years/decades of use. No smell, no worn patches, no torn straps. I think it’s a little larger, so it actually covers your feet and shoulder simultaneously. The color is spot on. Of course it’s comfortable and functional. Stay warm no matter the weather. I keep mine in the truck for those spontaneous bonfire/campfire/wilderness moments. Also, happens to stay in the washer/living area longer than necessary when it makes it into the house. The compression bag makes it easy to store anywhere and probably makes it easy to carry for packing (i don’t plan on rucking anywhere anytime soon).
