Car Keys Express Simple Key Remote Compatible with Chrysler Dodge and Jeep with Pairing Tool (3-Button)

Thought it would be more complicated but it was easier than we thought it would be and so far the paired key is working great! Much cheaper than taking it to the dealership and would definitely recommend to others for the quality, ease of installation, buttons working well, and affordability!

Supposedly compatible with. 2014 jeep cherokee, but has no way to start vehicle. Boo.

We had a key fob go through the washing machine so we needed a replacement fob. Our local locksmith wanted over $300 to set us up with a new fob, or $150 to set up a fob we bought ahead of time. I figured if the Simple Key worked, it would be cheaper to buy it and a spare fob than to use the locksmith. This was money well spent! It took less than 10 minutes to set up my two new keys, and most of that time was just reading the instructions. If I could give this more than 5-stars I would! Save yourself a ton of money and give this product a try, you will not be sorry.

I lost my car key/fob, the dealership wanted $400 for a new one. This was $105, I programmed it myself, it took 10 minutes and works great. My only complaint was the instruction manual might be unnecessarily complicated. Grab a pen, make a little star in front of the important steps, so you won't have to re-read the extraneous details.

Set-up is done in two steps. The first step is where I ran into a problem. I was unable to get the FOB ready to be programmed. After several attempts, I took the FOB apart, as you do when changing the battery. After I put it back together, I was able to enable it for programming. The rest of the process went very smoothly; probably taking less than 3 minutes. The new FOB works perfectly, with all of the functions working as they should. If I ever need more keys, the device will do 7 more. Very happy with the product.

The listed compatable years stopped at 2017. However the 2018 journey didnt change significantly, so we asked through Amazon if it would work. We were told that it did indeed work for 2018.....so we bought it.... nope.... wasted our money : (

recieved package and it appeared to have been used the tape covering insert showed partial void. also first step in the instructions could not be completed no blue light. recieved a replacement same thing no blue light. found that in order to get a blue light the metal key had to be removed from the fob.first... .poor instructions.. after all that the fob was able to be encoded and the fob worked to start my car. and lock doors. Steps to encode fob should be emboldened and in large type so action needed to encode stands out because of timing required

Seriously impressive. I followed the instructions in the box perfectly and I had a brand new fob ready in less than 3 minutes. This is way better than spending tons of money at a dealer or somewhere that has to order the key, cut it and program it all by themselves. For our Dodge Journey, I got the emergency key cut anyways, but I could have just as easily swapped it from the old fob.Customer service was fantastic with problems that I had with another so I will be recommending this to other people.
