Great doggy backpack
After buying the backpack last summer, today was the first time I’d properly tested it on a long walk. I would recommend using the stabilising rods provided with the backpack so it feels more rigid. It feels strong and there’s the ability to connect your dog’s harness within the rucksack to keep him/her secure. My border is quite heavy for her size but the comfortable straps helped distribute her weight evenly. Plenty of room for her to be comfortable. As shown in the photo, the rucksack can be used as a carry case. This was really useful when we stopped for a drink. My little girl could then lie down comfortably in the rucksack. Great value for money; I would highly recommend.

Sturdy and Safe
The media could not be loaded. Only had this bag for a week - but similar to a previous review, I have a small Andalusian podenco who is 10kg. He fits snugly in the bag without being restricted or too heavy as it’s fairly wide (see photo). He is perfectly content and doesn’t try to wriggle out whatsoever. Taking the bag for longer hikes means he can enjoy his own time when he’s on foot. For steeper hills home with arthritic joints, he gets a piggy back from Mum :) Yes it’s an expensive bag, but is great quality and you have an adjustable safety clip inside, several pockets, separate adjustable chest, shoulder and waist clips. The exterior base is waterproof, and the interior base is slightly padded for comfort. This is a brilliant bag that has been well thought out. We’re looking forward to many more adventures with it!

Great dog carrier.
Cannot believe the quality and feels realy well built. My cavapoo is 3kg and you wouldn't know she was in there, and no worries of her falling out.She is very comfortable in it and secure in it.A lot better than the cheap alternatives you get what you pay for at the end of the day.

Used for a 2 years now and its been good
Got this when our dog had an op on her paw and wasn't supposed to walk. Now she old and has infirmities she does like walking at all, so we use this all the time. It's a little long in the back for me 5 ft 5 female, but ok. It's well made and sturdy. It came with 4 plastic pole inserts to make it stiffer. I put to into the back part of the pack to make the bit against my back flat, but didn't put in the two in the dog compartment as with a larger dog I felt they'd dig in. With a smaller puppy it might be fine. It works well eithout them anyway. I've used it on walks up to about 9 miles, up and down hills and it's ok, but could be better. The waist strap is useless and I let it hand a little low so the hard plastic on the base doesn't did into my back. The dog seems happy enough in it. When she was younger and more spritely she used to juggle about abit and needed more breaks (she's a small cockerpoo about 45cm in back lenght from withers to tail top, top weight about 7.5kg). However now she's older and frailer and lighter she tends to slump down and doesn't want to get out when we stop. The back compartment is enough for putting in my lightish fleece, light rain jacket, hat and a wallet bits and bobs. Not too much else without squishing the dog. I also avoid using the side compartment for water bottles as these might dig into the dog holding compartment. Also anything in these pockets block the air mesh for the dog, which in summer isn't good and makes her too hot. I tend to stap anything extra I need to the outside with some elastic toggles. My old dog is a little smaller now and slumps down and needs proping up so her can get her head out the top, so I got a travel memory foam cushion on Amazon which is squishable enough to fit the bottom of the pack and give the few cms she needs to keep her head out the top, whilst hopefully adding to her bottom comfort. At least she hasn't complained. All in all this pack has been very good. Although I could do with a few design improvement, it's better than anything else I can find and worth the asking price imo.I wish there was a proper rain cover for it but shall just have to try and rig somthing up. It would stand up to a downpour.

Dog loves it!
Spent ages trying to find a solution to take the dog for a walk but I have a motorbike not a car. Really pleased with this rucksack. Our dog is happy to jump straight into it as she knows it's time to go for a walk! I use it on a motorbike but only for short distances (local park etc) I am very conscious that she'd get cold if I went too far. I also avoid using it during peak traffic. Our dog is about 6.5k and is a miniature breed so she fits into it fine with plenty of room. I do find she can get a bit tangled up if I use the internal strap to clip to her harness but we've shortened it and it's better for her. She can see through the mesh sides and I have got a couple of funny looks if she barks at a passing dog.The design is pretty good - the solid plastic bottom means and spray from the back wheel doesn't soak the bag and I can sit it on the floor and wipe it down easily if it (or she) get muddy. The straps stow away neatly in a pocket so it can be used as a normal dog carrier. Plenty of side pockets for poo bags and leads and the laptop pocket fits a folded dog towel well. Of course, any dog in this sort of bag must be on a harness and not just a dog collar. If I were to suggest an improvement it would be to the way the zipper tabs are secured when the dog is in the bag. Overall very happy with it.
