0.8 Litre Zebra Polished Mirror Finish Stainless Steel Canister Stovetop Teakettle, Made in Thailand

This little kettle is the quality I have come to expect from Zebra in that it is well made with a heavier gage stainless. I have two other kettles, one of their lunch pots that I use as a camping pot and all of Zebras billy pots .For me, the size is perfect for making 2 cups of coffee with my Aeropress coffee press into my GSI infinity mugs. It pours really well with one exception that I will list later.Here are the things I didn't like about the kettle...1-- The spout flap was to long to lay back past the bail handles base and had a tendency to flop closed while pouring. I trimmed off about an eighth of an inch of metal and now it works better.2-- Not really necessary to me but I do wish it had a whistle... I get around this problem by using a timer.-------------IN CONCLUSION--------------I like this little kettle for what I purchased it for, which was heating up SMALL amounts of water without wasting gas or other fuels. I probably will not take it camping with me but I could if I wanted to... It's just that I have other kettles that are multi use in that I could cook stews and things in them thru the larger diameter lid opening.So, If you don't expect to much from this little kettle then you will not be disappointed.

I'm a HUGE fan of Zebra products (and still am).. Quality is off the charts and worth the money.Possibly user error, but when I use it, it leaked out the top as the flow of water going thru the spout wasn't sufficient to keep pace. Maybe I just gotta slow my roll.....

On the plus side, this is a well made teapot. And it boils water in about 2 minutes on an induction range. This one was used and I now see why they got it back. Have you ever seen the movie Being John Malkovich (1999)? Remember the dwarfs and the 5-ft. high 7.5th floor? This teapot would fit in well there. Also in Gulliver's Travels...in Lilliput. It might be the king's teapot there. This thing is tiny! See the picture? It's only a little bigger than that. About the only use for this thing is a 1-person Chinese teapot with those little cups you use in a Chinese restaurant. I'm going to keep it as a conversation piece as it's not worth the hassle of sending it back.

This little kettle is the same Zebra brand tea kettle that I have used daily for several years and it is wonderfully well made. This small version, 1 liter is beautiful and extremely cute! We use the 2.5 liter at home and bought this smaller one for the RV. I would definately buy Zebra products again.

It is advertised to be induction stove top ready but it is NOT.

Please don't buy this for an induction top. It doesn't work.
