Brilliant, cosy, ski gloves!!

Great mittens. Warm, waterproof, big enough without being baggy. They fold comfortably around a ski pole without ever feeling like there is too much material. They are warm without feeling thick and cumbersome, and there is no inner glove liner to get twisted and turned inside out. The glove could be a little longer at the cuff and could have a clip to attach to a rucksack but these are minor quibbles. The mitt does exactly the job of one I nearly paid 3 times the price for and did it admirably. Great buy.

My husband has fingers that won't straighten so these mittens were perfect for him as they did not have a finger section inside as many others have. My husband is delighted with these and we would highly recommend them xxx

Very warm, light weight and compact, and reallt soft inside but as others have mentioned, they don't come far enough over the wrist so inevitably leave a cold gap

Helly Hansen is a brand that fashion conscious people who also seek quality wear. You may look cool wearing these, but fear not, your hands will be warm! They're not just a fashion statement!The inside has some light padding and is super soft. The outside helps retain the heat, the leather makes them very pliable. The gloves are well constructed and should last a long time.My partner finds them very warm when wearing, it is only Autumn but he's not got great circulation in his hands and some days have been very cold. He loves these gloves and wears them often but has found his hands do get a little bit sweaty, making the soft interior feel just very slightly dampened. But even when his hands feel a little sweaty inside the gloves they do not lose their warmth and it may be that these gloves are better suited to colder weather than he wore them in. Another niggle was the labels on the inside of one the gloves, these cause itchiness so we're going to cut them out with scissors.They are adjustable around the wrist, feature a clip to keep them together when not in use. Feel and look premium, excellent for cold weather, absolutely outstanding at keeping hands cosy. They appear like they'll last many, many years. Overall a great pair of mittens, mittens arn't usually this stylish but Helly Hansen have got these bang on!

First thoughts:I got these for my partner for when we do winter hill walking or expeditioning with snow poles. Personally I hadn’t really seen mittens since the kids ones with the string connection, but they’re surprisingly useful and have one advantage over finger gloves when it comes to extremely cold weather. The mittens are very warm for a medium insulated glove but having a single slot for fingers allows for the combined heat of the palms and all fingers to be shared in a more even fashion. It also allows her to use a heat pack for her whole hand which she can’t do in fingered gloves.Detail and things to note (See pictures):Insulated gloves that are very warm (they use Thinsulate material). The gloves are waterproof (looks like a membrane system rather than the surface of the glove) but that wasn’t the primary reason for getting them. They have a goat leather grippy palm and a microfiber lining.There’s an elasticated cuff to prevent cold air getting in through the wrist.Final thoughts:Now my partner has these, I'm starting to wonder if I’d be able to cope with a pair of mittens as I’m quite impressed with them. They work well with walking poles and keep her hands warm. I’d recommend these based on how I’ve seen them perform out in the hills and her reaction to not having freezing hands.

Thats the most expensive mittens I ever had. They are very nice quality, neatly stitched, fits well. Gloves are very warm for British winter so I may use them when going skiing abroad.Gloves have clip on side so we can connect them together when not in use. That guarantees that we won't loose the gloves when storing.Outer fabric is water repellent so we dont need to worry that melted snow will leak through the gloves. Hands are protected in this mittens.On palm area is patch with goat leather which makes this mittens longer lasting.When I worn this gloves I didnt feel that my hand sweats, because these gloves are also breathable.Cushioning inside is thick enough to keep hands warm.I really like this gloves and even with its price tag, they are worth to have.
