We just bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt for one of our kids, and only received 1 key. My husband went to a kiosk to get 2 more keys made and was quoted over $300 for both. I read the Amazon reviews and figured wasting $10 was worth trying this one. He took it to Ace Hardware (as another shopper commented) and less than $4 later, he had a duplicate key! He put the old one in the ignition, started it, pulled it out and put the new key in, and it worked. I saw other comments that the electric doors and/or windows didn't work - our car has ZERO electronics - it has manual windows and manual locks - so I can't comment on those features. But it did re-program the key and saved us a ton of $!! VERY happy!!

The key was right for my car. The only bad thing is someone willing to cut it for you. The Ace Hardware store by my house wouldn't do it. I took it to a neighborhood hardware store and they did it for me and charge 3 dollars. I gave the man 20 dollars to get lunch. He was the only one willing to do it.After you find someone to do it it took me 10 seconds to program it and it works great.

I like it the key is exactly what I needed because my other one broke I had the key cut and I went and programmed it myself with three simple easy stages you put the key in and turn it on for 10 minutes until the engine light goes off turn it off for 5 seconds and turn it back on for 10 more minutes turn it back off and do it again after the third stage about 5 seconds try to crank the car and the car cranked right up so I was riding again thanks Amazon for a fast delivery and giving me exactly what I needed I ordered it and got it within 24 hours and received it thanks again Amazon.

I purchased two of these keys and had to pay money to get them cut. Within a week one of them broke and now to get my money back I need to send back both. I already have money invested in both keys for cutting! So I have one cut key that works and one cut key that’s broken. Give me half my money back and I will give you a five star review!

I bought this key for my 2015 chevrolet traverse. I took it to Home depot and they cut it for me for free. At first it didn't work. Then I noticed the tip of the key was just a tiny bit longer so I took my file and filed it down to the same length Then tried it again and it worked great. I programed it which only took me about 10 seconds and wallah I had a new working key 🔑 🙃. Great 👍 I would buy it again if I ever need to.

Got both keys cut at ace hardware and program them myself
