Nothing basic about this cheese grater
After becoming annoyed with my old cheese grater single slice blades always bending I decided to buy a new one of more solid construction.Having wandered around a few shops I could find nothing that felt any more substantial.So ordered this one, it is 2to3 times the price of the ones I see in the shop but feels 10 times better made.Sturdy cheese grater and yours really need to try get hard to bend the blades on this one!

Handle broke after only 8 months !
Worked perfectly well but the spot welds on one side of the handle failed after only 8 months. Either poor quality control or bad design. Now looking for something a little sturdier.

Excellent grater
Pleasantly surprised by this Amazon basics grater, very sturdy, very sharp, works well and washes in the dishwasher with no signs of rusting or damage to the grater or the rubber base. Really good value for money item, highly recommended.
